What would it take to get him here this year?

To me, this guy has to be #1 target to get right now. This team blows on the perimeter we all know this. I believe we have a chance to be pretty good this year, but we need to add an elite perimeter offensive scorer to create the balance.

Would trading reggie jackson plus a 1st round draft pick be enough?

His contract is too good. He took a discount to stay I believe as well.

Probably cost Kennard(who they wanted in Grffin deal) or a protected FRP and an expiring(s).

So something like Ish/Ellenson and a lotto protected FRP for Lou.

Lou is better than all our back court players combined.
Sad..but true.

No, obviously Lou isn't a target. He's playing great, but we aren't going to be giving up first round picks for a 32 yr old gunner.

Should have insisted on him in the Blake deal.

He was a pending UFA right? Would he have re-signed here? He took a discount to stay in LA, so I assume he would have left money on the table here to go back there.

He's averaging 19 points per game, and he's doing it with great efficiency. And his contract is brilliant for what he gives his team.

We're not getting him.

I'm sure you are right. Still, the way the Clippers celebrated moving Blake makes me think we could have done MUCH better in the deal for him.
