Nostalgic piece showing why the Pistons were guaranteed last night's win. The Raptors have lost every time anyone significant has made their return to Toronto, including when Jose Calderon came back for the first time.

(Obviously, you don't follow the Pistons or you'd know there are no "guaranteed" wins.)

Raptors had a rough night and lost to a lesser team. It'll happen from time to time.

Raptors did not have Ibaka, the 2nd-leading scorer for the team and a great defensive center. Pistons won by two points.

Moose and Jonas combined for 31 points and Dre had a mediocre game at best.

Valanciunas isn't good at defense and Monroe is horrible at it. Griffin had a great game. Ibaka would have been very nice to have against him.

That's the starting center, man.

It's nice to know you fellows enjoyed the big win. Such is the joy of sports.

I liked the win. But it was a fluke brought on by circumstances.

I would not call this a "big win." The roster can squeak one of these out from time to time if they have a huge game from Griffin and the help of circumstances. There is not much joy to be had in this specific sports team, because of the fact that it does not have the personnel to compete in any meaningful way. Mediocrity is its ceiling. And it plays basketball that is not very enjoyable to behold.
