This is a poorly coached team. It is free lance basketball. You live by the 3 you die by the three. Johnson gets in and drives like an out of control bull in a China shop. We have a terrible point guard, a close to retired old man to back him up. We have 2nd and 3rd string players at small forward. We have a center who hogs all rebounds but yet has no offense (and gets intimidated by upper tier centers). Our best player is forced to score 30+ to keep us within shouting distance. We are starting a rookie shooting guard who was picked in the 40's and will be out scored by the other teams SG every night (so much for defense). And, we have no one to control the tempo of the game and make sure everyone is involved. There is no team game on the Pistons. The grab it and fire the 3 ASAP, along with give the give it to Griffith then stand around and watch, is not a winning strategy.

I considered getting tickets to a game out west. At the time I was considering it the team was 4 or 5 games above .500 and was looking alright.

I'm glad circumstances prevented from getting tickets at the time given the turn in our fortunes the last month and a half. This has gotta be concerning to ownership. What fraction of fans who put down money to watch this team will do so again after watching one of these performances?
