lol, at least we have a brighter future than the Wizards

Beal > Anything Pistons have.

I'd trade Blake for Beal + Morris without hesitation. Blake has been great for us, but Beal and his shooting would fit much, much better. I'd much rather add Beal to Blake but I don't think that's possible. I'd even trade Dre+Jackson+Leuer to get Beal and take back Wall's horrible contract.

Not sure Washington will be able to offload Wall without giving up Beal in that deal they might be stuck in ride it out mode like we've been with no one wanting Reggie.

I know enthusiasm for the team isn't high, but barely a mention of another 30 point game from Blake?

The work he's put into his game is amazing. 5 years ago, if someone had said that he was going to become a high volume 3 point shooter on a good percentage, everyone would have thought it was a joke. And his post game would actually get better as he aged? Impossible - he just jumps over people, so when he loses that, he would be toast. The guy is just such a top notch pro.

(X14), 30 point games for him on the season now I believe. He is playing really good this year.

I’m still cheering for wins. I don’t think we’re bad enough to tank

They are in such a strange spot. A game out of the playoffs and a game out of the 6th pick. They probably go for it and fail while getting the 11th pick or something

Yeah, it appears that even if we were to decide to tank 7th or so is probably our floor. Maybe 6th depending, but with Wall out it's tough to envision us following below the Wizards unless some serious injury happens, and of course under no circumstance would I ever root for something like that to happen. It's likely already too late to get into the bottom 5 given how bad the bottom shelf teams have been.

The extra lottery chance is important, but in terms of where we'll "most" likely be picking, I don't know if there's a huge difference talent-wise in this draft from 6-10. It seems like kind of a weak draft outside of the top pick.

When I watch the games I always root for the team to win. There's always that conflicted feeling when we actually do win because I'd like to see us get more lottery balls, but it doesn't mean I don't cheer for the team.

Blake was a joy to watch yesterday. Drummond really needs to stop dribbling the ball so far up the court though. It's almost like he has OCD and has to get it across half court, and it costs us a play every now and again.

I'm passed this stage, I root for Blake now as I feel kind of bad for him. But I am indifferent about winning or losing at this point. I would be definitely cheering for the team if they gave the young guys like Kennard/Brown/Stanley/Khyri/other scrubs to run the offense and maybe get one of them to shine out of it. This way we will never know about how good they can be until they are traded to the Nets or something.

We're in the same boat as Charlotte and Washington - one star. Griffin vs Beal vs Walker - who can carry their team to the last play-off spot. I think Charlotte is most desperate to get in to try and appeal to/appease Walker to show they have a competitive future. Washington has an "out" with Wall being lost for the season. Gores might want in the playoffs, but two home gates and a sweep isn't worth dealing a FRP away for. And when missing the playoffs vs being the 8th seed in the east is 8th pick vs 15th pick I think the current FO will get that message though to him.

I guess Orlando is still in this pack but I think they'll begin to fade a bit as they don't have that one star yet.
