The depressing part is that for as bad as we have looked, we are only 3 behind in the loss column for the 6th seed in the east. I doubt Gores is actually watching games, so he's probably still thinking we can make a run and be a playoff team. He doesn't seem to get that a first round blowout is the ceiling on this group, not a stepping stone on the path to a championship.

Didn't catch the game... Looks like I was mercifully spared from having to suffer through what may well have been the merciful end of our season. :sigh:

Did anyone even try? Guess the final score & box scores say no... It seems the much coveted Bradley Beal didn't even have to do much to put us out of our misery. :nonono:

Was at the game, and it was a sloppy effort by both teams but Wizards actually hit their shots.

So frustrating to watch Porter hit 3 after 3 off the same pick play -- and to see Ariza get left open in his obvious go to corner spot. That sloppy defense and lack of adjustments seemed to kill any comeback momentum we'd get going in the second half.

Zaza was horrible, playing like he had oven mitts on his hands. He blew at least 5 easy rebounds, and couldn't catch some simple passes.

Bruce Brown was the only player besides Blake who seemed to have any drive out there, but he also had some costly errors on the offensive end.

Blake turned it on late in the game, but was kept on the bench most of the 2nd quarter and seemed to be a bit thrown early on by the refs calling his usual backing-in offense as offensive fouls. You really feel for the guy, as he's trying and the talent clearly just isn't there on the rest of the team.

Models project us for 37 wins and 9th place in the East. We won 39 last year and 37 the year before. After this season it will be one +40 win season in 11 years(44 in 15-16). This is the fricking twilight zone out.

Gores needs to wake up. This team needs to commit to a long term rebuild.

I'm aboard the tank train now. There are 36 games left, as much Blake would want to play close to a full season he should probably only play max 25 of those.

I have a hard time imagining us resting Blake unless we're completely out of the playoff race.

And teams towards the bottom of that race are playing so poorly that it's going to be tough to not be in that race.

I think Stefanski will try to sell. He’s got no type of connections to the roster and has to know how good a top pick could look on his part. Clearly keeps a good scouting department or something too after getting guys like Dillon Brooks, Khyri and Bruce out of the second round.

By well I don’t mean Griffin or anything though. I doubt Gores will give him that kind of freedom. Maybe Dre is finally gone though.
