Told you guys we weren't getting a first for him. I actually really like Svi....not worth Bullock though. Unless it was going to be extremely difficult to re-sign Bullock (which is very possible), don't like the move.

This organization doesn't draft and develop well enough to be excited over 2nds.

I'm sure it's just a second rounder, any guess as to when.
This isn't really much other than an acknowledgement that simply aren't going to be able to keep him long term. It's not a precursor to any other type of trade nor any kind of an indicator of team direction (tanking or whatever). Just to head off any such speculation of that nature.
I'm not sure why anyone would be surprised by this move, it's one that should have been seen coming a mile away.
This is just the inevitable byproduct of our wreckless spending. THIS, ladies and gentlemen, is why salary flexibility matters, and why I harp on it even though we're not going to get any big free agents. We could have had the option to resign him if we weren't up against the luxury tax.

Jury is still out on the current regime as far as drafting 2nd rounders but I like their start this past year with Bruce and khyri so well see.

Guess we're sellers. That's ok. Next out should be Ish. Then followed shortly by SJ and GR3. Get something for these guys instead of losing them for nothing

At least it shows Stefanski is thinking ahead instead of pipe dream I guess

I could see Ish getting moved. Stanley too. These are the guys we're going to lose in free agency anyway. Again, this is why you want salary flexibility.

Don't think this trade means we are sellers, we just were never going to be able to keep Bullock.

It doesn't mean we're sellers of anything big or direction changing.
It does however mean the other pending free agents (Stanley, Ish) could be headed out too.

Svi immediately is probably better than both of them. No knock on Khryi or Bruce but they arent anywhere close to making the rotation on an actual decent team in this league.
