Stanley gonna turn into a beast in Milwaukee. Was hoping we could get picks.

Ain't Thon like 30?

If it's straight up it saves us $1.2M under the tax this year. And Thon is signed through next season at 2.8M so more cost control there.

We're 2.7M under the tax now.

But also down two wings. We were using Johnson at the 4 though.

Wow, we know we don’t have the financials to build a team next year and are trying to grab young guys still on rookie deals. Thon is ass but can still be a good stand and shoot option at his size.

Probably only offered second rounders - Thon is busted 10th overall, so it's a classic "change of scenery" trade you can sell your fan base.

Thon seriously sucks, don't expect much from him. Just don't want you guys getting your hopes up. I know the same is true of SJohnson

Bullock and Johnson gone, that's a lot of minutes up for grabs.

Hopefully Khyri finally gets a shot.

Thon is thrash but I'm glad SJ is finally gone. Good riddance scrub.

Further credence to the idea of shutting down Blake. Dump minutes on Thon and see what he does while tanking.

Kawhi stopper. Not sure what people were expecting? Stanley has been a historically bad offensive player.

Both players are trash, so I’m not mad.
At least it’s somethinf different, but I think there will still be a few more moves considering we have basically no SF’s on the roster

Addition by subtraction, if anything. Maker isnt much better, but now we no longer have to watch SJ constantly brick wide open 3's.

One of the few players who might actually be worse than Stanley

Thon is a super nice guy, good teammate and will have some plays that really excite you. Big weak side shot blocks and will get hot from 3pt. Inconsistent and had really bad hands still. Not a good rebounder for his size and still weak battling Centers around the rim. Decent backup big who has a tendency to show up in big games (loves playing the Raps and I imagine Casey had a say in bringing him in), but probably just end up a pretty meh trade for both of us. Stanley's shooting splits looks rough, I know he's a very solid defender, anything else going for him ?

Oh and yes he is 100% older than his listed age. Probably 2-3 years older, we had a fun hunt through this on draft night which ended up with me looking at his Australian high school yearbook from my hometown.
