We can't offer more than the BAE and he knows that coming here. He's a Flint native as well - so coming home could be a bit of a draw in a tie breaker sense. Rim running for the Lakers was a bit of stat padding.

That's surprising. I thought he would try to get back on a contender.

I am more sceptical about our organization than anyone here but if they manage to turn Ish/Zaza to Rose/Mcgee for the same price I think that's a great offseason already.

McGee for BAE and then we just need a solid vet minimum signing or two maybe a 4 that can shoot and a 3rd string PG due to the injury concerns involving Reggie and Rose.

^We met with Dudley, probably only offered him the vet minimum and he'll look elsewhere but left our offer on the table. Coming off 10M a season to the vet minimum of 2.2M (we pay 1.4M for cap purposes) would be a bitter pill to swallow. I'd dig him signing here though behind Snell and ability to play small ball four.

We've been linked to Shane Larkin as well. Though Boston holds his rights.

Dudley is not a 3 and Doumbouya is not a 4. I like that team, it's a lot better and more balanced than what we had this season.

But he is good, I've been wanting for us to get him for a few seasons already, in a limited role, playing limited minutes he will be amazing.

Lol hes actually got more impactful stats then Drummond in only 20 mins. 2bpg and a 63 ts% means at least hes figured out to stick to his strengths

It seems we might be waiting a while for the market to cool down before players start looking at BAE/Min deals. I'm ok with that, let's stay patient (not like we have much of a choice either way lol)

Javale's not actually stupid... but focus on the court was often an issue when he was younger. He's at least as smart a basketball player as Dre (though that's not a really high bar).
