Sadly, the only center making close to his salary is Dwight Howard that I can think to be available.

I think either Costello or Hall could provide more on the court than Gasol. If Gasol is meant to come in as a culture guy and if he actually has a positive effect on the locker room, he could definitely be worth it.

Meeks propelled the Hornets past the Jazz, scoring 18 points with 10 rebounds and four assists. The undrafted center who most recently played in Japan was 8-for-11 off the bench.

Baynes from Suns or Pat Patterson from OKC eventhough hes not a center him and Kief good bigs to have off bench

should have drafted Bruno Fernando with number 30.

Koufos averaged 3.7 points in 42 games with the Kings last season.

Haynes notes that Koufos could be signed later in the free agency period.

He can make Luke Kennard feel better about his thinning hair at least. Seems we're after a no fuss veteran to use in the case of emergency out of our 15th spot. Not sure Kosta is ready to accept such a role yet.

I posted about Koufos in another thread a few days ago. He's a pro. Won't win you any games, but won't lose you any, either. He can play. Very capable backup. Good value for a vet minimum contract.

Yeah, I posted about potential Koufos about a week ago since I was surprised he was still not taken yet with a vet min. I'd look to pick him up so we can have some depth big bodies at least.

Koufos would be a huge upgrade over Thon as a backup 5. Koufos is a meh veteran but he know his role, won't try to do too much, he should be solid in 10-15 minutes. Thon is really good at some things and absolutely awful at others, he is unplayable imo.

Yeah I don't believe Thon will be in the league after next season. He's got a bad case of butter fingers and nothing fixes butter fingers. The next thing is size and I think he's the type of case that won't gain weight. The only thing keeping him in the league is shooting 3s and shotblocking. The biggest thing he can work on is 3pt shooting and strength. Those hands need a TON of work!

I'm hoping Miami trades for Chris Paul and uses Olynyk as one of the out-going pieces and we swoop in and offer exprings Galloway + Maker for Kelly Olynyk.

I like it for the value but is there a big enough role for Kelly & Kieff?

Dre and Blake play a lot of minutes.

Pistons have 3 centers in Dre, Thon and Kieff. They should be set.

I'd rather have Kosta than Pau.

But really, I'd rather have neither and keep the roster and super limited luxury tax flexibility.

i'd say get kenneth faried for cheap then run thon/morris at the 5 depending on matchups.

100%. Surprised so many people are cool with Thon/Markieff taking the backup C duties...Faried, Kosta, Noah would be much better in that role.

Could be another option.

I don’t value Kelly. Not a true C but more of a four.
