SVG to TNT

Will be doing color commentary like his brother. He seems well-suited for it. More-so than studio desk work. He'll probably be entertaining.

Stan can be funny, so I look forward to seeing him call games.

Did ESPN get a second-round pick as compensation?

Good, TNT needed it with how insufferable some of their commentators are. SVG at least is worth listening to with his analysis.

Other than that he has a face for radio and a voice for neither

Yeah, SVG's voice can be pretty abrasive.

He knows his stuff and is usually pretty straightforward and to the point, though.

I don't really care either way.

I've been disappointed in him so far. It's like he doesn't want to offend anyone because he still wants to coach.
Comments to rationalize bad contracts -
1) It's less than the MLE
2) He can be traded later
3) It's only __% of the cap
4) The cap is going up
5) It's only __ years
6) He's a good mentor/locker room guy

Agree, if he would just relax like at a presser with stuff spewing he could be great.
