Drummond has had a handful of bonehead plays this game already but you look up and he has 14/9 on 50% shooting. If only he could just control his boneheaded play.

We've been saying this for five years now, which is why lots of us don't look at him as the typical 17/15 center that you'd be happy to keep as part of your Big 3. Drummond's pluses are exactly that--17 or so points, 15 or so rebounds. He adds nothing else and you could argue that he clearly has some detrimental qualities.

Is it me or is it kinda suspicious that the Pistons wont play Doumbouya? Hardly played in summer league? Is he not that good and the Pistons are "hiding" him to avoid another WTF were you thinking question when they drafted him? They havent showed him at all. Makes me think, he isnt close to being ready to contribute.

Is Tom Gores perpetually drunk? Don't get me wrong--if I had his money I probably would be too. But I'd at least put some effort into trying to not LOOK perpetually drunk.

Well, that and actually play defense. The modern nba offense is looking for 3's and layups and dre seems to give both up in abundance.

New parts and all take time, but this is why me and some others want Kennard to start, along with the rookie.

I still don't get why not, but I've given up on that one.

It would be exciting as hell to watch that every game.

"Exciting" is something else I've given up on with the Pistons as well, which is not a good thing when your talking about an entertainment product.

Rose
Kennard
Doumbouya
Griffin
Drummond

Yes please
I would absolutely buy tickets immediately. This is why the front office confuses me to no end.

If the product has the ability to excite the people you want to buy tickets, they will. As it stands, no way in HELL.

Maybe NBA teams don't care about ticket sales anymore. A complete disconnect with the cities they are supposed to represent. They just do not care, otherwise an incentive would make sense. NBA team #6.

He did play a summer league game and looked pretty good. He had an injury the first few summer league games. It's preseason game 1. You aren't going to play every single player every night and yes, Doumbouya may not be ready to contribute. We don't know yet. No need to jump to conspiracy theories about the Pistons trying to hide him.

If he's not ready to compete at the NBA level, given his age you don't just throw him out there with men and say "Prove yourself, kid." That's why there are highly recruited red-shirt freshmen football players in college who never step foot on the field their first year. You don't throw them to the wolves to watch their confidence get destroyed if you think they can't hold their own.

PGs dont pass, dont play defense. SG cant shoot.

Team is still PG at the top of the key and 4 guys standing around.

Unless that guy is Lebron its not going to work in modern NBA.

Team is bottom 5 without Blake playing huge minutes.

Second season in, Casey doesnt coach D. How many more three pointers will they give up? They give up so many OPEN 3's. Team cant improve without playing D.
