Hopefully we just keep looking sharper with each game and start to tighten down a set rotation. Really hoping Christian Wood shows out again so he makes the front office decision a no brainer, if it isn't already.

Right there is the problem with Brown starting. Good ball movement and extra pass to an open.... Bruce Brown.... in the corner, who hesitates because he can't shoot. His defense also isn't good enough to make up for the lack of offense.

49 points given up with over 6 minutes left in the quarter, Casey doesnt coach Defense. Bad offense (chucking threes) contributes to horrendous Defense.

To be fair the Mavs have hit like 5 well contested 3s. Hardaway and KP can't miss today.

Wood again just having an impact all over the floor. Maker was a ghost yet again.

Brown and Reggie are not starters on a good NBA team. Galloway and Thon are not regular rotation players on a good NBA team. Hopefully it's just preseason but Casey small ball lineup is stupid

Yeah, I'm okay with that. He's playing harder today but still taking it easy. Preseason is about shaking the rust off and evaluating what the rotation will be. By preseason game 5 I think he will be more assertive.

With all due respect, no. People can't label others as the bitchy, pessimistic "doom and gloom" crowd then play the "relax" game when the team does exactly what the "doom and gloom" crowd predicts.

This isn't the NFL where in four pre-season games you'll see PLENTY of second string, third string and even players who won't be on the team when the regular opens playing. These are starters and bench players who will all be on the team when the regular season opens, and clearly some of the same problem issues still exist.

That all being said, anyone who still wants to play the "stop being so negative, this team is one or two moves from contending" game can stuff it. CAN they be better than last year? Very likely. WILL they be better? Probably. Have they shown they're close to contending? No effing way. Not even close.
