Hopefully means Reggie will have a week or 2 to prove he's reasonably healthy & can contribute so we can ship him out for any thing of value.

Everyone needs to reflect upon and recall Reggie's history of coming back from injuries during the season.

This is most likely a nothing burger.

Worse-than-nothing burger.

I almost forgot he was on the team. What a disaster signing in hindsight. We barely got 2 productive seasons out of him it seems like

Does he retire after the season or does he look for another contract. And how much will a team offer him. I mean does he get a Full MLE offer even? I'd guess he signs a one year prove it deal somewhere and either gets through healthy to sign a bigger longer deal or gets injured and hangs 'em up.

Only bad GMs would offer more than the MLE for him. If I were a betting man, it’s the Derrick Rose Minnesota deal where he barely got interest for a minimum deal to prove it. Only way for him to really recoup his injury ridden image.

For every Mr. October, there is an equal and opposite Mr. October.
We got the "opposite" Mr. October.

Let's see if he can stay on the floor and how he looks. IF we re-sign Dre and don't tear it down (I know, I know) I'd take a flier at the right price. He wasn't bad last season.
Comments to rationalize bad contracts -
1) It's less than the MLE
2) He can be traded later
3) It's only __% of the cap
4) The cap is going up
5) It's only __ years
6) He's a good mentor/locker room guy
