Rose was probable and then got ruled out due to a sore knee. Its never good when that happens. Great job running him into the ground the past two games Casey. Kill our best tradable asset whos a known injury risk for nothing.

Shouldn't be a surprise, really. Teams didn't know what he can do so he surprises for a few games, they figure it out, and suddenly he's getting shut down. At 19 obviously he doesn't have enough all-around game--or the mental toughness--to react accordingly.

Trading away Porter Jr for basically nothing is looking pretty dumb. Not sure how good he actually gets but still a nice prosepect.

The potential is still there. Hes already shown more then I expected for being such a raw prospect.

This team is like 3-5 years from being relevant anyways. Thats 3-5 years if the FO isnt just going all in for 8 seed every season.

I've had some low points as a Piston fan, but not sure I ever felt this hopeless.

Cavs are about to snap a 5 game losing streak against us.

Didn't Nets just end something like a 7 game losing streak against us last game?

Then they turn around and lose to the Knicks in their next game, we are really bad

Im just glad Sekou is getting meaningful minutes tonight.
They aren't helping him with all the mercenaries coming in and out he has to play with. Offensively he mostly seems tasked with moving out of the way of the vets who wont be here soon/next year and its hard to get a flow going for him.
That said he is learning the NBA intensity and plays reasonably good defense which can be habitual. Still developing but slower than that first week he got meaningful minutes.
Markief Morris playing is a negative to his development though thats clear.

Trade Rose and we might not win another game. This team has no friggin leadership whatsoever. This is beyond pre grant hill teal era bad when we were trotting out the corpse of Olden Polynice at center.

I don't think I have ever hated a Pistons team as much as I hate this one. There is absolutely no heart out there, and our 'best' player has the mental fortitude of a 4 year old. What a godamned waste.

meh, I don’t think it’s a coincidence that rose, reggie, and Bruce have yet to play together since reggie has come back. it seems like Casey is purposely staggering their games to give them an extended look in the rotation to hopefully entice buyers at the deadline.

This game should be the nail in the coffin to not stay put at the deadline and instead sell sell sell.

I think you're giving us way to much credit. We werent showcasing Rose for a trade we were trying to win games.

We've got a problem with not resting players and overworking them while hurt. Blake last season played top 10minutes in the league. We ran him out for the playoffs gimpy. We started the season with him gimpy and playing. Rose getting ran massive minutes on a back2back. We were running Luke out when he wasnt 100% as well and now hes out for extended time.

Rose and Blake arent guys you can play this way. Teams are all moving into a cautious direction with players these days. Seems like the pistons are just in YOLO mode in that regard.
