I’ve been a member of this forum for almost 10 years. And I lurked for years before signing up to post. Just want to say I appreciate you guys. Every time there is Pistons news I always look forward to coming here first and reading your posts. Nice seeing so many of the same people on here for years and discussing basketball with you all.

It’s been a long painful road. Hopefully we are good again sooner than later and we can all enjoy it together!!

Haha. PSD was wild back then. I got banned for life from there. Haha. They had a Mod that basically banned everyone that argued with him about advanced stats in baseball. That’s what did me in. I wouldn’t “fall in line”.

I've been on Realgm for over 17 years at this point.

I also live nowhere near the Detroit area. I don't even really know any Piston fans IRL, apart from my old man. This board has always kind of been my only outlet in terms of basketball related stuff. It's meant a lot to me to have a group of folks dealing with the same team I am. I won't deny it was a lot more fun when we were winning, but it's still therapeutic to be around others who (at times futilely) hope for and dream of better times.

I've been a part of two social media forums in my entire life--Facebook and RealGM. Facebook kept me connected with people I already knew.

I literally could not stop telling stories of my adventures with friends I've met on RealGM. I've gone to Australia to hang out with friends I've met in this forum. Vegas (many times), Cali, Milwaukee (again, many times, oddly enough), BMP and the Orlando guys.

Way back when there was that "OMG don't give out your real name or info on the internet!" thing going, but that's gone. Anyone want to meet up? Drinks are on me.

You name it. I am a social creature and have always been open to meeting up. Truth be told--I do suffer from exploding boils and extreme flatulence, but if you cover your nose and your beer you'll be fine.

ProSportsdaily. If you even mentioned RealGM back then they banned you too. Haha PSD didn’t allow you to talk about other forums. It was a weird place. Now it’s a virus infested ghost town.

It has been a long road. It's always amazing being around fellow diehard fans in the brief times the last decade where we were winning though. Hope we get back to winning at some point.
