Can Anyone Picture a Scenario Where Drummond is Signed as a F.A.?

Could there have been a handshake deal when we traded him with the understanding that team could/would try toget him back as a FA? This conspiracy popped into my head this morning, and I have been thinking about all of the angles as to why and how it could be plausible and beneficial to both parties. The move helps the rest of season tank, gets us a better draft pick, develops the roster youth. Basically, the team would be in better position to be successful moving forward, thus providing Andre a better team to "captain". It would certainly be an incredible play. Is the Gores/Drummond bromance still alive and strong? Thoughts?

P.S. - This scenario is nothing I wish for this team or it's fans...

There’s zero good reasons why for both sides this will happen.

If I remember correctly, there is a rule that does not allow you to sign players you have traded in the next FA.

AFAIK you can't trade for them the next season.

Signing a FA is different

This happens with basically any player that has been with a franchise for more than a few years as a key piece. If you don't see posts about him into next season it's probably because this board has been abandoned completely.

Eddie Drummond has been out of football since 2007; no one is going to sign him.

There were 8 seasons of Dexter.

IMO 2 really strong ones, 2 pretty good ones, 2 kinda weak ones, and 2 train wrecks.

I read the whole book series too. Also a mixed bag but definitely some good stuff in there.

Nobody is going to pay him. Hes opting in for sure.

He was benched down the stretch last night. I think he had 7TOs. No surprise he came to town the coach stepped down. First game he plays on the Cavs they had their worst loss in franchise history. Looking like hes stinking up the joint again tonight.
