It's been pretty good so far. Lots of narratives the league has conjured up. The Battle for LA, the Forgotten Champs (Toronto keeps getting slept on), The MVP in Milwaukee, Houston's mighty small ball, etc.

Toronto's team defense is insane and so on point, it's probably going to take some huge individual efforts from superstars to beat them. I don't think that's gonna be Giannis unless his 3 is falling at a high volume. Joel Embiid is probably the only superstar out East with the skillset and ability to take them down himself.

Going to be a wild finish, you'd say there's 6 teams with a reasonable chance of winning it all.

Not shocking.... but first major injury, Jonathan Isaac blows out his ACL. Obviously injuries can happen any time, but the long layoff is going to make this much more likely.

That sucks for that kid and for the Magic. Isaac was well on his way to being an excellent player. He’s still very young, so I’m sure he’ll fully recover, but this is a big blow for both the player and the team.

I was watching that game when he went down. My heart sank when I saw the replay. I feel bad for the kid. Has to be demoralizing for him, but he'll be back.

Now Jaren Jackson Jr blew out his knee. Hopefully he can make a full recovery.

It's a sad situation for young guys like Sekou but I can't say I'm at all surprised.

There's just not enough collective incentive (e.g. $$$) compared to the drawbacks for the members of non-playoff teams to universally want to get back at it. The veterans especially would see no merit in this. There's just too much risk from Covid and injury to come back for meaningless games.

I honestly think it would be much better for opt-in players to form a much smaller bubble -- like 30-40 players max and just do scrimmages; limiting things to small single staff to run and handle the medical side of things.

Individual teams should just form training camp bubbles along with inviting their G-League affiliates to play with them for a couple months or so instead of doing the bubble. That's basically the same level of talent and effort if they were to do this non-playoff team toilet bowl they're trying to form.

Feel bad for anyone who missed that Dallas vs Clips game today. Such a epic performance from Doncic and funnest game I've watched in a long time.

Ya what a finish. Kid is unbelievable. Kings must hate themselves for not drafting him. Reggie was guarding him too lol

Both Kings and the Suns too. Same with the Hawks, they traded him to the Mavs.

But what a legend. He's already putting up legendary performances that'll be replayed over and over again for years at... 21

Hurts watching him explode cause this whole board wanted him!

Luka is doing crazy things but we never had a shot at him.

Mitchell? Coulda been ours

Exactly, this isn't one of those hindsight things cause we all pretty much wanted him to begin with which makes it really sting.

The league is in good hands.

We really had a choice of two paths when we picked Kennard. Gonna take an impressive young Pistons core for me to get over that ****.

Nice to see Reggie Jackson make the highlight reels in the playoffs, with Doncic's help.
