I think it's pretty clear now, in hindsight, that Hammond was probably the main brain behind the gtw Pistons.

Given what Hammond did in Milwaukee and has done in Orlando I'd agree.

In both situations he seems to have had the playoff mandate too.

Apparently Hammond and his FO are all about going the "long, athletic" type.

Kinda feel back for Orlando considering the injury to Isaac. He looked really good for a while there.
