It's a great pick... there were really only two options. I know our GM probably wanted the guy who went #4 but Hayes feels like he should be solid for us right away taking the minutes Brown would have been getting hopefully.

Absolutely the player I wanted, and I believe is the best player in the draft. Ecstatic with this selection. Kid has the drive to be great. Has a killer mentality.

I cannot believe it!

Grade? A

Potentially we took the best player in the Draft at 7 instead of a safe option

It depends on how well he developes his off hand and shooting range. If I recall this was the same issues with a young D Rose... Here's to hopeium :^)

Haliburton was my first choice, but Hayes was my 2nd. Hope he does well.

With the way the draft fell, it was Hayes or Deni.

I like Hayes more and DET needs an actual PG. Plus hes French which helps the other guy on the team with all-star potential.

Its like a win-win-win. Unless Deni becomes a superstar it was the right pick.

Who knows how it will work out, but this is the type of pick we need to make. Very high upside as a 2 way pg.

pretty much the best pick we could've made at #7. i like haliburton a little more but hayes absolutely has more potential to be a lead guy, which is what we need.

Congratulations on a great draft guys Killian Hayes is a stud.

Your team was really willing to go all the way up to 3 to get Patrick Williams?

hmm, i mean this might be true. But I kinda feel its just a spin piece by bulls media so there fans dont give them backlash for potentially reaching on Williams
