Yeah he doesn't really have much skill outside of elite rebounding. Even his passing was completely subpar in Cleveland, like he has the BBIQ sometimes for it, but his hands don't quite have enough skill to make it fluidly nor score

Some of the way he moved and got things done at certain times was damn... If he only did that consistently. He had moments. but his effort didnt match his ability. He should be doing what Joel Embild does. But with no heart and no effort and no dog in him, meh. He has that skill or ability, but he doesn't have it inside to do what he can.

If you are comparing Stewart to Drummond, the latter is just bigger. The former has more coordination, more desire, and more intellect. It's true that you can't teach size but as we've seen you can't really teach Dre...anything really.

Whether it's because of gaining a few pounds, lack of drive, etc, Drummond in his last years as a piston didn't seem as athletically gifted as his first years. He was never, ever in the same league as Embiid from a coordination / finesse standpoint. Embiid makes Drummond look like Kwame Brown in that area.

Man, Drummond would have been the next Shaq if he had Stewart's work ethic. Had all the physical gifts, just never hit the gym like Stewart and didn't work on his game like Stewart.

Plus as he's demonstrated, he doesn't really have a ton of talent offensively. Just great athleticism for a guy his size.

Take away shaqs size and he wasn't all that skilled. Pound for pound, not good.

Imagine how good he would have been with Rodmans talent. Imagine how good rodman would have been at 7 foot, or ben wallace..... imagine if Isiah Thomas would have been jordans size. Pound for pound, Isiah Thomas was better than Jordan.

When Stewart was drafted I was thinking C- pick. Now that we've seen him play and grow, he's a solid B+, possibly A- if he keeps developing his jumper.

Shaq was actually very skilled. Post footwork, hands, passing vision, lots of things. His timing on shot blocking wasn’t elite, and he obviously had weight problems as he got older, but I definitely think of him as highly skilled AND physically dominant. He is an all-time great, after all.

Someone wake me up when he manage to grab a pass. His hands are Kwame Brown level of bad. I still love his energy and work ethic, once he start shooting 35-36% from 3 he will be a nice energy big off the bench. Like Maxiell :)
