Wood signing with Rockets for 3 years 27 million. Not sure why he's not coming back to us for that price. Don't understand the FO

Damn the only reason Houston gets Wood is because we took Ariza from them to allow them to use their MLE without going into the TAX. **** WEAVER.

Wood signed for less than MLE and less than EBR money.

Remember the days when folks were giving him $15M+ here.

Told you dude has to want to come back and play for us. Sounds like he wants to win and we're kicking off a rebuild. Not hard to understand. Plus he was an unrestricted so not like you have that over his head.

Wants to win with Houston trying to trade Harden and Westbrook because neither want to be there?

Wow this deal makes Detroit look really really bad. We take Ariza and 16 for a future first and it creates the room for Houston to steal Wood from us. Took make things worse, we sign a useless 30 year old backup center for the same deal. Brutal moves by Weaver. I’d rather pay Brown 3 years 24 than Plumlee. This offseason is just as bad as the Gordon and Charlie V. Offseason. Is Joe Dumars back running the front office?

He’s 26. He doesn’t care about winning, he cares about money

My thought process is this deal with Ariza could be a sign and trade for Wood. Hopefully yes so it doesn’t cost a lotto pick but with the current Weaver deals. We would probably throw that pick into the deal anyways.

Because Weaver is probably trying to make the playoffs.
