We took on Ariza. That was done. Why did we help the Rockets get Wood. Did Weaver do that for nothing?

We'll have to wait an see the particulars.

But I wouldn't be surprised if the incentive to include Wood was to get Houston to agree to the protections on the pick that they are getting.

Yeah, so the mastermind, 8d galactic chess move.

S&T Wood.

So we could stretch Dedmon and Gruder.

To Sign Grant to $20 a million a year for a bottom 3 team in the league.

Why not keep the damn $20 million. Dont sign Plumlee. Play Dedmon and Gruder, or trade them for something mid-season.

Yeah, if our plan was to tank....I’d rather tank with cap flexibility than tank capped out over 3 years

I'm really curious with why we couldnt keep wood around even if we overpaid him by a few mils things must of been really bad between casey and him with reports over last season saying he has a bad attitude and casey showing him tough love by benching him at times its crazy to me.

So we essentially traded Wood for Delon Wright and #16?

It’s no coincidence that the two guys Casey always seemed to give an extra hard time to were tossed away for scraps despite them being easily two of our best players.

No. We still owe a 1st to Houston. It's just more protected, we don't know how.
