Grant just isn't a SF, if he's playing SF its going to be bad. He could be good as a 4 though

Dude is a SF. His career-best for rebounds per is 5.2

he literally has 0 guard skills, he cant dribble and averages 1.1 assists per game for his career. His ideal position is 4

He shot pretty well last season, at least looking at his basic stats. Blake is a ball handling PF which lessens the pressure on Grant at SF. Not ready to write it off completely yet.

I won’t write off them trying it.

I’ll write off the notion of it working though.

giving me way too many memories of Smith/Monroe/Drummond, except Grant is a better shooter than Smith

Your in good shape if Grant is like your 3rd best player with a couple stars but hes gonna be our best player probably and handsomely paid.

Assuming Blake and DRose are still here, he’s our #3 option. Svi is #4

Ahhhh guys we are setting our lineups like the older they get the healthier they will be.

My mistake

Hayes/Lee/Rose
Svi/Jackson
Bey/Sekou
Grant/Stewart/Griffin
Plumlee/Bradley/Okafor

Bottom 4 for sure

Those aren't really the type of stars I'm referring too at this point.

Lee and Hands are likely the two 2 way players for Detroit

We should play:

Killian-Wright-Jackson-Sekou-Griffin
Rose-Svi-Bey-Grant-Plumlee

Griffin should play the 5 and quit on handling the ball

Sekou is a 4. Even Casey realized about it during last season. Only if he has made a huge jump on his ball-handling we can consider him a 3.

Stewart and Lee will start going to the D-League

Musa and Okafor should fight for cracking the rotation.

Derrick Rose|Delon Wright|Killian Hayes|Saben Lee(2W)
Svi Mykhailiuk|Josh Jackson|Dzanan Musa
Jerami Grant|Saddiq Bey
Blake Griffin|Sekou Doumbouya
Mason Plumlee|Isiah Stewart|Jahlil Okafor
Weaver = Hinkie

Really hoping Hands makes the roster. Seems like a kid that is hungry. Just watched a video where one of his teammates had his head down after a bad play and Hands reached over and lifted his head up. That won me over instantly.

Watch his dunk in traffic in the video.

Let’s summarize:

After the draft we were excited to watch the young guys develop and lose games. We knew there’d be some money spent on veterans because that’s what you have to do.

Now, it’s clear that Weaver is just another Gores “yes man” in that we’ll still try and make the playoffs because...reasons. We have overpaid players who will block our rookies playing time, we have no cap space for the next 3 years and will be drafting in the 7th spot next year.

GARBAGE.

I remember when that video made the rounds. That's a guy you bring on to be the last guy off the bench even if he never gets off the bench. Every team needs a hype guy/lift-your-spirits guy. ESPECIALLY with our other signings, we really need a guy to lift his teammates' spirits with loss after loss.
At the end of the day, it's not about wins and losses. Teamwork, fair play, and good sportsmanship make champions of us all.

Go arbitrary assortment of athletes! Beat the other arbitrary assortment of athletes or my mood will suffer!
