It might be petty, but him being ineffective and then going out with a minor injury entertains me a little much.

It's absolutely comical. It's as if the Lakers are cursed this year with all these injuries

In those 14 minutes he played, he looked the same usual Dre to me. Which doesn't bode well for the Lakers

That’s what I mean. You had Lakers fans and stat watchers acting like they just landed a 3rd star or at least someone who would be a huge bonus.

They'll come around like Cavs fans did. It'll be another notch in Lebron's belt if he can rein in another delusional center that thinks he's a point center and or overestimates their abilities

The schadenfreude once the Lakers fans grovel come playoff time will be hilarious

Lamarcus Aldridge looking pretty good last night. Although it was the Hornets who basically have no starting 5.

I'd wager LMA plays more than Blake just due to more offensive versatility.

Gordon Hayward is out for a month now. Not saying the Charlotte pick will get amazingly high, but this should help it get a little better.

Poor Gordon. He’s Glass Joe from Punchout.

In spite of my weird amount of focus on getting Ellington off the team for 2-3 months. I can accept and mildly understand why it didn’t happen by trade or getting waived.

But why in the world is Cristiano Felício still a bull?

They added two very talented centers at the deadline and they have very a legitimate chance at the play in. And he’s got to be like the 6th or 7th big on their depth chart.

I get the “6 fouls” argument, but they would be better with almost anyone regardless of position or experience.

I don’t expect anyone to respond, do if you want to, I just felt a need to post that for some reason.

I honestly think a lot of big dudes like him are acquired and or retained just to be practice dummies for when they actually do practice during the regular season. Not that these teams really practice much besides training camp anyways, but I imagine for some of the younger talent, they use some downtime to get a few training sessions in.

Remember when we signed Aaron Gray, a 7 footer that we didn't really need? Ended up exactly being that for Drummond and a few of the younger guys we had

I don't want Brooklyn to win but what happened to LMA and the way he retired is sad.

Good for him to put his life and family first over a few more years in the league. Heart problems are extremely finicky and terrifying

One of the best post up fade away big since...Duncan? Such a pleasure to watch during his blazer years just swishing everything

We should cut that bum Jah and pick up Mo Wagner. At least he’s enthusiastic.

Sounds good, Wagner has some sneaky skill.

Okafor salary is guaranteed next season and Wagner is terrible. I wouldn't miss Okafor tho.

A reminder of why that move qualifies as my second worst Weaver decision. Giving Okafor a two year deal was not a good idea.

If we had an open roster spot, sure. But adding him isn’t worth cutting Okafor. Bring him in the offseason as a reclamation project free agent, sure.

I’m convinced he goes to Minnesota with them having an open spot

So players taking time off is going to be a thing for the remainder of the season.

I do appreciate the fact that they know Orlando and OKC are right behind to tale our place so they're giving these rest days as a way to give more chance for a loss

Previous Pistons of old before Weaver would've been playing nearly everyone and "finish the season strong" mentality to it

Curry man, so inspirational

The man is averaging nearly 44 pts 5 ast 6 rebounds in this last 10 game stretch on unprecedented efficiency. I remember nephews on social media worried about Curry's legacy back when the dubs had a slow start. That aged like milk to say the least

Curry is a player that can get hot and in a shooting groove and pretty much beat any team out west in a playoff series. I wouldn't want to be Phoenix sitting in that #2 seed and have to face the Warriors in round one with Curry shooting the lights out entering the playoffs.
