Cavs played strong against the Hornets.

Are we better than the Hornets? I'm guessing about the same, which would mean a pretty bad loss.

Expect a lot of zone when Killian is on the floor. Just like forcing him to the right (where Killian missed an easy lay up trying to go right and then switch the ball to the left hand).

Garland and Sexton looked better than last year. Plus Okoro is some offensive firepower.

Drummond will play the Pistons hard, so expect a huge game from him. Drummond against Okafor will give Okafor bad dreams for a while.

I expect Pistons to win this one. Yes, Dre does tend to play down to the competition so expect Plumlee and Okafor to look golden today. Plus, Pistons should very well know how to best handle Dre and Hayes will not be defended hard this game, let alone a plucky Rose. Unless Pistons just go cold in a post-Christmas hangover, this should be a relatively entertaining game: neither team is any good in the NBA landscape, but will want to fool themselves a little bit longer.

It will be telling if Pistons let another lead go again in the fourth. And I am curious for how long Casey will keep Jackson from starting. Either stick Blake at the five or put Grant off the bench. I'm feeling Monroe/Drummond/Smith starting line up again.

Two bad teams matching up. These are the type of games you have to lose if you want to compete for a top pick.

I can't decide if I think Andre is going to destroy us or if he'll be so in his own head trying to destroy us that he'll play like trash.

I expect Dre to have a monster night on the boards; snagging every ball he can out of teammates hands. And about 7 turnovers to go with that.

Kevin Love seemed to shoot well against the Pistons. Drummond wouldnt go out to guard him, left him open to shoot 3s.

Not so different from Plumlee, Okafor and Griffin.

My guess is Cavs shoot well above average from the 3 against the Pistons. 40%+ with Love and even Drummond hitting 3s, plus Garland, Sexton and Okoro.

If Dre has a statement game here it would be showing more moxie than he ever had when he was here.
