I know its early, but this is looking like a great signing for us.

Plumlee has averaged 8.7 PPG, 10.7RPG with 3.7 APG, 1.5 SPG and just 1.3 TO

He is shooting 62.5% from the floor, and playing just under 30MPG. He's right where you want him to be.

If you told me we'd get those numbers for $8 million per year I'd be thrilled. He's a better passer than I realized and he's rebounding better than he ever has before in his career. He's not getting you 14 per game like Drummond but he isn't very far behind and he plays less minutes per game.

Hard to say if he can keep it up, but he's been very solid to start the season and he is a big reason why we've been in so many close games.

Meh. Good guy. Good teammate. Really solid passer for a center. We just didn't need to lock up 3 years on that contract and stretch people to do it. Hopefully he teaches the young guys good habits, because he's clearly too old to be a starting center on our team whenever we become competitive again.

Plumlee has been solid as I expected but the dude can't stop anybody lol.

Slight overpay but I'm still happy with the signing.

He box out, something Drummond never did. Drummond was a much better offesive rebounder, but I don't miss him at all.

I am shocked, but I am happy with Plumlee and Grant, they were both good FA acquisitions. Josh Jackson was a big steal as well.

The thing that still infuriates me is letting Wood go. We could have all 4 of them. We would not have Wright, but Wright is not great anyways.

Bey / Ellington
Jackson / Svi
Haliburton / Rose

That would've been rebuild done without us having dead cap space for 5 years and without us not having a future 1st.

For sure, we could not have Wright + Stewart and we could have had Wood instead. We would also still have our future first round pick we gave up. I'd like Wood + Future first rounder more so than I'd like having Stewart but overall in a bubble, Plumlee signing has been good for us. If he can put up and efficient 10 and 12 with a few assists per game that is great for us. I'd take that over what we've seen from Drummond the past few seasons.

I never said a thing about his acquisition because I didn't know much about him. I remember seeing him in college and that was it. I never praised nor criticized the signing because I figured Weaver knew what he was doing better than I did. That being said, having watched Plumlee play I've got no issue with him whatsoever. He's not going to blow your skirt up but he sure as hell isn't a "Why the hell did Weaver sign THAT guy?" player.

That's the ideal scenario. Plumlee starts this year, and midway through next season Stewart becomes the better player and starter. Plumlee also is 100% a professional that will work on helping Stewart get better and would be ok being a backup as well.

I am in the group of people that hated the signing to begin with, but I think thus far its looking like it could turn into a win for us. Maybe even an asset at next season's trade deadline.

I like that Plumlee is a solid professional on the floor. It's refreshing to have a center that stays in his lane, plays mostly to his strengths and doesn't have mood swings. His vision and passing have surprised me, a totally unselfish player. I expect we'll look back on his signing as a good value and fit for rookies and the rebuild.

Plumlee would be even better with a pick and roll PG.

Plumlee is very smart and could score easy points with someone who would let him roll the basket. Even better would be a 3 man game. Pick and roll, if defense collapses around Plumlee, he is also a really good passer to a cutter.
