realistically the difference between finishing last or third last for the lottery is tiny but it's still nice to see the wolves and wizards win on the same night.

Man, Russ showed up vs KD.

The Nets have got to have one of the worst defenses in living memory. Impressive offense, but worse defense:

The Wizards-Nets ending was great, a rare treat. No longer shorthanded, I expect them to win enough to fall out of contention for worst record.

Need Washington to go on a win streak so it's just a 2 horse race between us and Wolves.

Funny that they're always one of the worst teams regardless of how many top 5 picks they get.

That should be our worst nightmare - we become them!

KAT should come back by next game or the one after it for the Wolves. That can help them.

Minny keeps their pick if its top 3. So they will lose out if possible. Its really their only hope.

That or somehow go on a tear and make the playoffs so GSW dont get a lottery pick and make MIN looks like bigger idiots.

At this point it's not even clear that KAT is a player that helps a team win games.

The one fairly successful year the wolves had with him can to a significant degree be attributed to Jimmy- the team tanked that year after he got hurt.

With respect to Washington, the one thing that is working in our favor is that they clearly aren't TRYING to tank. That's a roster that is constructed with the hope of reaching the playoffs.

Yeah but KAT being in the lineup strengthens their team regardless.

The team to keep an eye on is Orlando. They've arguably been the worst team in the league since Fultz went down. I'm still keeping an eye on the Thunder, Knicks and Bulls. The Thunder are likely to trade Horford at some point and the Knicks and Bulls are more than capable of going through long losing spells so it's a good thing that they built that cushion early this season.

The Pistons haven't played either of them yet either so there will be a lot of swing games between the three teams, Wizards too. The 1st half schedule was exceedingly tough for the Pistons so it's vital that they create some separation because I'd imagine that their 2nd half schedule will be weak. I hope that Denver game gets rescheduled because that was an auto loss.

Shhhh not so loud. I'm old enough to remember when we needed to be potentially worried about getting a 9th pick this year.

I can make the argument that the Pistons are the only team in the NBA right now with absolutely zero incentive to try and win games right now. That can't be said for anybody else. But they win a couple games over the course of a week and a half to bring their winning percentage to somewhere around the high 200s and all of a sudden people start panicking for no damn reason.

I like last night’s game plan. Keep letting Blake start and flounder for 20-25 minutes while all the kids get 15-25 minutes a game.

Both Wizards and Wolves have 1 more win than us right now. Rest of the league is +4 wins above us.

We will play Nets, Pacers and Celtics (b2b) this week, need 3 loss.

Wolves have lost to Mavericks and will play Clippers and Hornets this week, a Minnesota win against Charlotte would be great for us. Still don't know when KAT is coming back.

Wizards have won against Bulls and will play Raptors and Knicks this week, plus Celtics on Sunday (both teams on b2b). They can win another one and we have to make Celtics lose in double OT on Saturday so we would help Wizards for their game the morrow.

I cant see the Wizards staying this bad sooner or later they'll go on a couple win streaks. Cleveland, Orlando, and Chicago are the sneaky teams to watch

And Wolves beat the Raptors!!!
But we waste that opportunity to be back at the last position...

Cavs and Magic both lost so there are now 3 teams ahead of us by 2 wins only...
