Time for a healthy serving of Beef Stew!
This opens up the possibility of Blake moving into a backup/small ball center role as the season moves on.

I think Grant probably would be small ball five or play if Plumlee or Stewart got into foul trouble. Griffin doesn't have the mentality for it.
I wouldn't be surprised if Detroit makes a move for a 3rd Ce for depth - either trade McGruder or just cutting Frank Jackson and bringing in a two way Ce. What is Justin Patton doing these days?

What date is Blake’s surgery scheduled for this season?

Sucks for him. Not really an impact for the team. If Plumlee and Stewart end up in foul trouble on the same night, sekou might actually get some extended burn.

We already had Justin Patton on the team although he was traded before the season started.
