He looked fine. He looked like a rookie but no, he didn't play like he was either scared or inept. Certainly a good effort that, given it was his eighth game, wouldn't cause anyone to say "Ooh, man...I don't know about this guy."

I don't know why Casey is playing Jackson so much. He is so selfish, I basically never see him pass the ball. He is not a NBA player and should not be in our long term plans, so why even play him?

Smith is also garbage and should not get any playing time for the rest of the season.

Why play Diallo out of position? Will that help his development?

I also hope Cook will not be retained as he's nothing special to me. Just this year's Donta Hall.

Lose and develop our young core should be the main thing. Lose was there tonight but development is questionable when you use 43 minutes on guys who will not be on the team next year AND don't deserve to be on the court more than anyone else.

Yeah, I'm old enough that I recognize the Bally logo from way back when somewhere or other, have been to Vegas over the years more times than I can remember, and my brain just automatically hooked the two together. After reading your post it immediately popped back in my head that the Bally logo is the Bally I know from bowling, pinball machines, etc.

I was actually only referring to mistaking Stewart for Sekou because of the hair. I don't purport to know more than the coach relative to who should be playing when/how much and thus don't get mad/frustrated by anything Casey or Weaver do--even in the context of mad relative to sports, i.e. not literally mad--because I have no control over it anyway.

I'm not understanding your premise. I don't think he played scared prior to the injury. He just sucked. What's this scared thing about? He either sucks or he doesn't.

Didn't get to see the game and I can't really find any video of Hayes in his return(not a lot of interest)so ill just go with what people have said here. Thanks for the comments on his performance.

I watched but wasnt paying 100% attention.

Hayes looks much more confidence and faster. He made some good passes and tries to run up the court. He did make one great pass up the court for someone, maybe Diallo who got behind the defense.

He can't shoot still and has an odd looking shot. He seems to shoot from his hip almost, like Shawn Marion but starting out even lower and from the side. Its ugly.

He doesnt look like the worst player I've ever seen like he did for the first 7 games. So thats great. I'm hoping he does some good things to hang his hat on for the off season.

Anyone wanna go back and watch any of those 7 games?

Cause he wasn't abysmal in all of them and wasn't a deer in headlights the entire time.
