I used to love the west coast Pistons games starting late because I could go do whatever and then still come home late and watch the game. Now I'm a 39 year old dad to a 4 year old I can barely make it to midnight before passing out when my daughter is up at 7am every morning.

Reggie Jackson looks like Lamar Latrell. 39 may be a little young for that reference

Mason has had 2 too many post ups so far. I really like this brand of basketball. A couple more pieces and we’re looking at the best pistons team in 14 years

Every detail about this segment is entertaining to me

Jackson blocks Morris’ shot, Plumlee runs the fast break, and Ellington buries a 3 while Luke attempts to defend.

Stewart with the tap back (no credit for rebound) and Bey gets the triple out of it. Really solid first quarter for both those rookies.

Stewart, somewhat surprisingly, has the second highest PER on our team behind Grant.

JJ has been pretty good in April. His scoring is up and playing a lot more aggressive.

Lee is so good at swinging the ball to a random wing. It's night and day compared to Cojo and DSJ

Man do I not miss Reggie Jackson's style of play at all. He just continuously calls his number and runs the same right side or top PnR every play with no intention on getting his guys involved

Is it just me, or is Frank Jackson starting to feel like a keeper. I know we don't need all these guards next year, but it seems like he has just been really solid for us.

Good thing is Josh Jackson has the size to defend most SF's so sliding him there works out fine for us.

There are two schools of thought:
1. He’s supporting the tank.
2. He actually is trying to win but it is stupid to play the players who can actually win the game, because he believes only veteran players can win games...even when playing them results in losses.

You choose.

At some point you’d think teams would start blanketing Saddiq.

I agree. I’m really impressed that a guy stuck behind two rookie point guards is legitimately forcing the pistons to think about keeping him.

Bey is becoming really good at making small movements on the 3 point line when his man is in help side defense. He just gets right into the perfect space to get a pass and have enough room to get the shot off. Doesn't look like a rookie out there at all. High ball IQ player.
