Are you rooting for any former Pistons to win their first ring?

Realistic shots -

Lakers - Drummond, Morris
Clippers - Kennard, Jackson, Morris
Nets - Griffin, Dinwiddie, Brown
Sixers - Harris
Suns - Galloway
Bucks - Middleton

Or any I missed.
Comments to rationalize bad contracts -
1) It's less than the MLE
2) He can be traded later
3) It's only __% of the cap
4) The cap is going up
5) It's only __ years
6) He's a good mentor/locker room guy

Middleton is the only other major one but he had such a short time here.

I’m thinking this has been done already. In any case...

Don’t care. I don’t feel any emotional attachment to players once they leave the Pistons.

Harris/Sixers or Middleton/Bucks would be nice.

Screw Drummond, Reggie, and Blake. No real feelings either way about the rest.

Tobias Harris is probably my favorite former piston in the league atm, so probably him.

Drummond, just for the sheer amount of triggering would take place in here.

Middleton/Bucks or Harris/Sixers. Basically just want to see a new team win a ring.

But honestly just not Brooklyn.

I hate both LA teams and every player on them. Boban and the Mavs probably doesnt make the cut as being realistic. I feel indifferent about everyone else.

I would've said Blake at the time of his buyout, but since then with him suddenly "regaining" the ability to dunk and his behavior in the game against us, I don't want to see him win a ring now.

List in OP leaves out KCP.

I thought someone had bumped the old thread at first, but then I remembered that one had a poll.

I don’t really care truthfully. I’m not actively rooting against any of our former Pistons but there are no former Pistons out there I really like enough for it to sway my view of the team.

It is interesting how many former Pistons are playing roles on contenders now, though all of them are playing smaller roles than they did with us (as would be expected). Except Khris, of course.

From that list I’d prefer the Bucks, but it has nothing to do with Middleton being a former Piston.

I'd also prefer the Bucks from that list only because I think Giannis deserves a ring, bring in some new blood, blah blah blah. Plus I like Milwaukee; outside of the cities I've lived in I've spent more time in Milwaukee (due to work) than any other city anywhere. Have consumed beverages with a number of RealGM Bucks board posters on a number of occasions.
