Hayes with an epic tank performance.
Turnovers down the stretch, missed free throw and then slips over when we need to foul

That was...too close for comfort to say the least. If not for Hayes rookie mistakes or possible brain fog when driving on Biz and missing that FT

Pretty sure Casey drew that up in that timeout. To let Hayes loose instead of the hot hand in Diallo

I honestly feel like he's actively tanking. Him falling defending Melo and him going full court to take a contested 3 is not something he does on a normal basis.

I wish he would’ve made that and then lost in OT

And as soon as I saw he was taking that last 3 I knew it was a L and we weren't going to OT.

Honestly, if we're really trying to win next year, Hayes likely is an 18 MPG backup at most. He still has a really long ways to go before he is a guy that helps the team win.

This was Hayes first back to back since he came back from injury so we should cut him a bit of slack. This is pretty much a lost season for him anyway. I think (hope) he'll be a lot better after a full offseason of training and recovery.

At least he's shown flashes of passing ability and floor general presence. But yes, he's definitely a project, you need to be able to score in this league if you're a guard

Diallo had a ‘don’t get rid of me’ late season game. He had a good night, but it’s as plain as day!

I got that feeling, too. He missed the free throw really badly, had a bizarre slip when trying to foul, and dribbled into terrible position to jack up a three at the buzzer.

Pretty much. And I don’t think that’s a knock on him, just reality. His potential is still there and I think he’ll be a good player. I think we keep Cojo and his huge contract and Hayes is his back up next year.

Hayes is an elite tanking weapon. Hes going to put us in a position to land some big time talent over his time here.

I applaud Killian but every shot he took and missed. Those are the same shots he need to work on in the offseason to get better and to up his game. He has a chance to be a solid two very good NBA player if he puts in the work. I was happy to see Sekou have a good game. Good for his confidence. Same thing with Sekou. work hard during off-season

How could so many people be so high on Hayes in the draft? He seemed lacking the day he stepped on the court here.

Here come the **** again to attack Hayes. He will get better next year. He wasn’t instant impact like most hoped, but the potential is there, and I won’t give up on a 19-20 year old player.

Insane court vision. That's just something you can't teach. We'll see how he works on the rest of his game. Tighten the handle. Build some strength for finishing. Get that J more consistent.

I see we are back to the "Hayes sucks" part of the season again.

Good to know.

Just as a reminder, it is only his 20th game, and his first back to back since coming off an injury.

In Europe he was doing everything he does now, And hitting runners and step back 3s. He has no confidence in his scoring ability right now. Hopefully insane amounts of practice in the off season will give him the confidence and fix any of his mechanics that are off.
