Re: Predict Cade rookie stats
Anything short of a 30/20/12 season while shooting 50/40/90, is cause for concern.

15/4/4
Tom Gores' Securus faced a class action lawsuit in 2024. The company engaged in a "quid pro quo kickback scheme" with county jails in Michigan which banned in-person visits in order to maximize revenue from voice and video calls.

Re: Predict Cade rookie stats
If he's with us, 16 points, 5 Rebounds, 4 assists
I think Bey, Grant and Cade will all average between 15 and 19 but no one on our team will average 20+ next year.
Hopefully its enough to win rookie of the year but there are certainly a bunch of good players this year capable of winning it.

Re: Predict Cade rookie stats
I don't think he'll crack 20 pts per game off the bat. Unless people really do think he's the next Luka type of player
It'll be close, but I'm thinking 16 to 18 pts per night along with 5 and 5 on average shooting to end the season

I have no idea. If he’s on the floor with Bey/Grant/Stewart… I can see a going to work Pistons team approach where no ones stats look godly but they feed the hot hand and the team excels.

Re: Predict Cade rookie stats
So there’s some people predicting a Lebron-esque rookie season.
I think 16 or so points with 5rebounds is possible. The assists may take time, and his shooting will be inconsistent.
It can be a strong rookie campaign, but people saying 20/6/6 need to realize they’re projecting a top 10 rookie campaign of all time, at least in the modern era where you didn’t have 22 year old rookie superstars.

Might as well project what you hope for.. these are just meaningless prediction. Would I put down money 20/6/6? No. Do I hope for and would like to see it? Sure… even if there isn’t a good chance of it happening.

Eh- I think there's some interest in seeing what people's actual expectations are for his rookie year.
If you're acknowledging that it's unlikely, then it's really not a prediction in any meaningful way, is it?

What I'm hoping is we see better assist numbers then college right away. I figure just the fact he has guys around him he can hand the ball off and get assist should help in that factor. For Okstate he was depended on to be the number one scoring option. For us he we've got Grant and Bey to get some buckets which should add a few easy assists with a mix of some of those hard earned ones mixed in.
I guess it depends on how much Killian has the ball in his hands though. I'm hoping for 5 but maybe thats optimistic.

It’s possible, Simmons went from 4.8 apg at LSU to 8.2 apg as a rookie.
I’m hoping for 5 as well

Same here. I think 16 PPG is doable given the role most of us would expect him to play. Same with 5 assists and 4 boards.

Re: Predict Cade rookie stats
Cades assist numbers are going to depend on a bunch of variables here in Detroit, especially during his rookie season. As I, and others have posted, videos of his potential assists show that if he had some shooters around him, his totals would have been much, much higher.(as would his turnover numbers be lower)
If Hayes was not on this team, or if Hayes comes off the bench and Cade is the starting PG/PF(point forward)then his assist numbers will be what I am hoping for(8apg).
His scoring is not going to be a problem to be honest, unless his shot goes into the ditch for some reason.
