Thanks chrbal, no, but the old fool finally figured it out and corrected in the original post.

Hope this finally puts to rest the absurd Cade height-gate BS that's been floating around lately. Prince was always listed at 6'9. Cade is just a touch shorter then he is. Ben Wallace was always listed at 6'9 but admitted he was closer to 6'7.

We done with that crap hopefully?

Cade is around 6'7, and may actually grow another inch.

I am still not over the Pistons being sold a false bill of goods. Cade not being 6'8" means the Pistons entire strategy likely has to change.

Looks like Mahorn shrunk in his old age.

Man such a great photo. So much of the Pistons history and future. Hope they keep in touch and learn a thing or two from them.

I agree that the whole height argument is crap but he's clearly at least a few inches shorter than Tay, it's more than just a touch. The hair makes it appear to be a lot closer than it is. Not that it matters much anyway.

This is a great photo linking the past to the future which is what this thread should be about..

Wonder how Killian feels seeing the other two 1st round picks from last year and this years first get invited to something lile this.... hopefully it ismt something that bothers him not getting the invite. The fact that we get Cade, Stewart and Bey there very much reaffirms that its all about those 3 going forward this year and beyond. We are for sure laying the groundwork with those guys.

Who invited Michael Curry to be in that picture?

Also, Cade looks shorter than 6’7’’ Bey. I’d say 6’6’’ is right.

He’s been a no-show at all things Piston related ever since his falling out with the organization at the end of his tenure as president.

After how he played last season and in the summer league? Luck to be in the NBA would be my guess :)

I am happy for not seeing Rip in that picture, he was an **** in his last few years with us.

Of course he could of had more class at the time, but its not like the organization was treating Rip all that well those last few years either. Besides Rip was present for Ben's jersey retirement, and Ben present for Rip's, so I'd imagine their relationship is fine...

I also think that people probably make too big of a deal on who is/isn't there for these types of things. Sometimes these guys just have prior plans/engagements for that timeframe. I have no idea about Killian specifically, maybe he didn't get an invite or maybe he was visiting friends/family in France or doing any number of other things he might had going on.

Also, it's really weird how much older Ben looks than Isiah.

Pretty sure bey and stew are both listed 6’8, which makes cade being 6’7 seem about right.

in any way, Ben being “6’9” is the most egregious lie ever told in pistons history.

Rip was 100% at this event though, so I’m not sure why he’s not in the picture.

that being said, I’m glad my favorite piston ever lives rent free in your head.
