Will still be really exciting to see how Stewart looks, as well as Bey... and even Josh Jackson and Diallo. Hopefully at least one or two of our young guys are going to take a big step forward this season. Nice just to finally be back to basketball.

Also going to be interesting to see just how long Cade is out for. I might try to grab tickets to our last Preseason game (Oct 15th vs the Sixers) but likely only if Cade is playing by then. You'd hope he would be ready to go 9 days from now, but they haven't really said much about his injury. The fact that he wasn't even listed as "questionable" makes me think it might be worse than a little soreness.

They are being extremely cautious with Cade. Opening night is going to be a HUGE affair, and they don't want that messed up for any reason.

From everything that I've read, it was a minor ankle sprain, but it's all about opening night.

I'm excited to see Saban Lee's improved shooting and how JJ & Diallo look and if they can play together. How does Olynyk fit, compared to what Plumlee gave them. The Hayes breakout season begins tonight.

This will finally be the year we reap the benefits of Stuckey’s improved shooting and increase in muscle mass.

there was footage of him on the practice court getting shots up and he didn't even have the ankle taped or anything. hopefully it's just a situation where if it was regular season he would play but why risk it during the preseason?

either way yeah it'd be nice to see him before the regular season but it's probably better for the team to be cautious with him and us fans just learn some patience haha.

I won't mind seeing Saben Lee get decent minutes to show how he's progressing. He should be backing up Cujo if Hayes is out.

Yea excited to see Saben get some good run. It sucks that Cade won’t play and Hayes might not either. Can’t wait for the games to start, Pistons basketball is back!

If Bey consistently drives the lane, dishes, or goes for the layup, it will really make him deadly.

Josh could really benefit from a floater.

Josh looks more under control so far.
