I’m ready to see Killian & Franck Jackson’s preseason debut.

Can’t wait for the regular season!

Hopefully Cade plays in preseason

it'll be interesting to see what the rotations are with hayes and jackson added into the mix.

For sure a bummer that Cade has missed court time in training camp and Preseason, but overall he still has a leg up compared to last years rookies. He's been in the system, a part of what's going on, even though he hasn't been seeing actual game play. Hopefully he at least gets that October 15th preseason game at LCA against Philly. The good news is that he's out on the court shooting the ball, and moving around on it so he you'd think he is likely close. Would love to see him play all 82 games his rookie season, so hopefully we're getting this minor injury stuff out of the way before the season starts.

As far as this game goes, Ja Morant is one of the best young players in the league that is still a bit under the radar. There was so much Zion hype his rookie year, and being drafted after Zion it feels like Morant has always been a bit of an afterthought. I think Morant takes a nice jump forward this year and ends up with about 24-25 PPG and 8 APG and his first of many all-star appearances.

I get that they want to be cautious with Cade and aren't going to rush him back, but these preseason games are really valuable for rookies. It's not just the game time. It's game time followed by lots of practice time where you can work on your mistakes. You just don't get many chances for that in the regular season.

Yep, and it's also THE time to get any of the rust from the summer off as well. No matter how hard you go in practice, real game time speed is different and I expected Cade and Killian to build off of it fully, it's a bummer that they're not going to get nearly as much of the experience this year

In the long run we won’t even remember that Cade missed preseason games.

The only fear now is that they MIGHT be downplaying a more serious injury. At this point there’s no evidence of that though.

Is this the same injury that ended his summer league?

No.

I don’t remember hearing that WAS an injury, but this ankle is new for sure in any case.

I can wait for Cade, at this point I just want to see an signs of an improved handle by Killian and signs of improvement on his jumper. Summer league wasn't enough of an improvement on anything he showed last year so I am hoping to see those things trend upwards.

Yeah I remember cause Oklahoma State were on ESPN that whole time to show him off and was never playing
