Would be great to get an opening night win if Cade's first game of his NBA career. Let's assume everyone is good to go on Wednesday night, and Cade, Bey, Grant and Stewart are all starting. That would leave one wild card spot that you can pick. Who would you pick to start alongside those 4 guys for opening night.

This poll isn't who you think will start, but who you would select if it was your choice.

I think Josh Jackson is most deserving after showing his improvements during pre-season.

I think based on Killians draft position, he has the most invested in him.

Frank Jackson’s shooting, intangibles and not needed the ball in his hands may be the best compliment if Cade can be a primary ball handler and doesn’t need help.

I guess it’s not an easy decision.

I would start CoJo with Josh at SF. Cory as veteran will help Cades game more.

I'm thinking Jackson bit it does make a cluster of guards if you do it for the bench

I'll stick with Hayes because I believe Weaver and Casey think he and Cade will make good backcourt with their size.

But then again, Starting Lee wouldn't be giving up on Killian, it would just mean Lee has had an opportunity in the preseason to get in a groove and he is more comfortable.

But I would rather have Lee doing his thing with the bench crew, I like the thought of him and KO along with both Jackson's being a nice offensive punch against the opponents bench players.

In a way, Killian will be more protected by playing with the starters. Our main 3 scorers will be around him in Grant, Bey, and Cade and all he really needs to do is play good defense and be a good distributer, that way his scoring can come along at a reasonable pace as long as he is quarterbacking the team.

This is a bunch tougher with Jackson playing so well. If he continues this, he becomes a very, very good fit next to Cade, who I want to be the primary ball-handler.

People may think I'm all about Hayes, but the reality is that I don't want to give up on him to early.

From what I've read Josh Jackson is probably most deserving to start. I do think we need to find out if Killian and Cade can coexist but they don't need to start together to do it. I just think Killian will be better off part of the bench unit initially, less pressure against lesser players, could boost his confidence.

Josh Jackson is also very capable of defending the opposong teams best player at the 1, 2 or 3. He has the size and athleticism to the guard and wing positions better than anyone else on our team. That also could take a ton of weight off Cade as well.

Josh Jackson started strong last season and then he showed his flaws during the season.

The only guys I see being NBA caliber players of that list are Saben Lee and Frank Jackson, neither of them should be starting but oh well, if I have to pick one, it would be Frank Jackson because I think he has the higher ceiling.

Saben Lee would probably be the better fit, if he can continue to hit his open 3's and take good care of the ball.

I would be ok if CoJo start, I would be extremely disgruntled with either Josh Jackson or Killian Hayes starting.

Hayes, if for no other reason than I'll be entertained watching some of the people on this board go bonkers if he doesn't play well.

I'm going with the Jacksons. Josh when he's letting the game come to him. Frank when he's not.

killian hayes. cade playing 4 on 5 is only going to help his development.

Kilian was drafted to be a starting caliber guard. I'd like to see him get more time to prove himself.

either frank or diallo for me. josh should be our sixth man and killian should command the bench with shooters around him.

If he's playing the 2, Saben Lee.

If he's playing the 1, Josh Jackson.

Josh Jackson's improvements changes up the rotation a bit for me. Originally I thought we'd run a 9 man rotation, then possibly 10 if Lyles was good enough to get those PF backup minutes behind Grant... but now I'm thinking that Jackson might end up getting all the backup minutes at SG and SF and it could push Diallo right out of the rotation. It will certainly be interesting to see how it plays out. Josh Jackson is looking better than an 18 MPG backup SF though.... that much is certain.
