Three things we need to do to improve the offense.

#1. Kelly O needs more touches down low. He's averaging 2.7 posts ups per game, averaging 1.19 points per possession which is probably our most efficient offensive option for any player on the team in any type of play. We need to look at certain matchups where he can go to work on his defender. Overall with the rest of our offense being so out of sync and looking so bad we should be looking to get it to Kelly in the post 4 to 5 times per game.
#2 Saddiq Bey has been decent in the pick and roll game (While Killian and Grant have been awful). Bey and Kelly Olynyk do get some overlap and when Olynyk comes in we should run some Bey and Olynyk pick and roll. Olynyk's ability to pop out gives Bey a different look in the lane that should open things up even more. Especially if he stays with the bench guys and gets Lyles, Olynyk, Jackson and CoJo. Let that lane open up for him to give him the best chance to succeed in the pick and roll.
#3 We need to get the ball and push it in transition. We've gotten so few transition attempts that no player on our team has actually had 10 possessions get to look at their advanced metrics... BUT with how much we're struggling in the half court offense and our overall youth we should be making it a focus to run down the court and try to get some easier looks before the defense is set. We also have the advantage that we don't play many player's big minutes. We run a 10 man rotation and have a lot of players that play close to 24 MPG so other teams that play stars more should in theory get a bit more tired out than us if we look to push it. Also, this is important because with our outside shots not falling (we are worst in the league at 28.9%) the defense has really been able to pack the paint a bit more and limit the ability of our guys to get open lanes to the basket for layups.
