Game 10: Pistons (1-8) @ Rockets (1-9) - Nov. 10 7:30 PM EST
Finally. I don't ever recall a team having 5 days between games in its schedule before.
Cade v. Green. 1-8 v. 1-9.
Pistons getting 1.5.

6'6" vs 6'4". The biggest 1-2 pick hoax the NBA has ever seen. And look at that--their teams have two of the three worst records in the NBA. If only both of them were two inches taller.

Big game, very excited for this one. I think Cade is gonna take it inside on Green like in summer league. I think Killian is gonna dog Green to prove a point for Cade. I think I’m just a homer fan who’s excited for a must win game that might get his night ruined.
Defense wins championships

I think this might end up deciding who picks first next season.

This is probably the greatest matchup ever of teams with this bad of records!
Should be fun though. Half expecting both to have off shooting nights and force too much. And then some random vets will take advantage of both teams playing so many youngsters.

Funny how the two worse teams in the league playing will be the main nationally televised game and most likely the game most people talk about on social media.
For the sake of my NBA podcasts I listen to occasionally, I hope Cade leads the Pistons to a victory. Otherwise, I'll be hearing about it way too much.

I find this take to be extremely believable.

It will be interesting to see just how often Cade and Green guard each other. I wonder how both coaches will approach this, will they encourage the two to go at each other, or will they attempt to downplay the rivalry from the start and just make decisions for the overall game.

Who told you that 6'4 and 6'6 guys can't be great players? If both were two inches taller, hmm, they would have 2 inches more length advantage over guts guarding them, you didn't know this? Glad to help you understand.

And I'm glad to help you understand that players don't gain or lose height by putting numbers on a piece of paper. Biology doesn't work that way.

This was a long wait for the fans, but at least it gave the team some practice time and let them reflect on the miserable stretch of schedule they just got through. Strange that Cade will be going up against Green, Mobley, and Barns all In the next few days.

Cade's NBA debut was a pretty big game for the franchise, but this is likely the biggest game of the season for this team until we get into late season tanking and need some of those important Ls.
Would be great to get the W on this game, or only national TV game for the season. Also would be great to see Cade drop 20 on decent shooting.

With how bad Green is on defense he should be able to unless they put him on Killian.bstein14 wrote:Cade's NBA debut was a pretty big game for the franchise, but this is likely the biggest game of the season for this team until we get into late season tanking and need some of those important Ls.

Your whole bitch session about this is literally based around the the fact 6'8 was written. You can't grasp it, but you absolutely are crying about somebody writing 6'8 for his height. So he could just quote ANYTHING you've said on this and it would still suffice.Pistonrings wrote:Manocad wrote:Pistonrings wrote:

Game, set, match.
Not to mention that he's projecting it as some big conspiracy that set the whole world on its ear when it's just him making an issue of it.

Your Statement is silly. No, I am many others don't like being LIED TO. We simply said that it would have been great if they had been telling the truth. 2 extra inches of height would have been a nice advantage. No one said he was 6'8 and then shrunk. We griped about being told he would have 6'8 height and being excited that he would have that advantage and then finding out it wasn't true.

Your 2nd account it looks like. Normally you respond immediately, but strangely, there was a pause while this response came throught, then you show up just about the right time you would have needed to make a quick post. Problem is, both responses are just as silly.
You didn't know people don't like being lied to, or is it you don't know that 2 inches of extra height would be an advantage?

Quote from Manocad
"No one is disputing that being 6'8" in the NBA doesn't offer potentially greater possibilities than being 6'6"."
Ok, he obviously he knows that 2 inches of extra length can be advantageous.
So all the draft folks said we had a player with this advantage. That would have been a good thing had it been true, but it wasn't true. We didn't like hearing that this wasn't true because that meant he wasn't going to have that advantage. Uh, not hard to understand here.
Then we have another totally odd statement, one that makes no sense at all. Check this out
"Durant is 6'10" yet he's calling Cade a "tough, tough cover." How can that be possible if Cade isn't 6'8"? Clearly a guy who's 6'6" can't be a "tough, tough cover"
What?. Who said a 6'6 guy can't be a tough cover. Use your brain here, YOU DON'T SAY THIS unless someone has actually told you a 6'6 guy can't be a tough cover, so I ask again, WHO TOLD YOU THIS??? QUOTE THEM, like I just quoted you. Can you answer or not? I haven't seen anyone tell you that, so it appears you are having an argument with some spirit poster that exist only in your own mind.
WHO TOLD YOU THAT 6'6 GUYS CAN'T BE STARS OR TOUGH COVERS? Answer and this will be done with.
