Killian 3rd best defender of the sophomore class but also 2nd worst on offense. Bey 2nd worst defender of the group. Stewart closer to average of rookies overall but still not really promising considering lots of these guys and lower minute backups and not starters. Saben Lee actually performing the best overall out of our four 2nd round guys.

Hayes have been really good on defense and Bey have been a complete disaster. Stewart would be a solid backup and Lee has potential, so this chart pass the eye test and show exactly what we have seen on the floor.

I have absolutely no problem changing my opinion, and today for me, Hayes is the guy with the highest potential, but he is still no where near the level of an NBA player. His offense is a disaster, but he showed enough to make me believe he is capable of been passable there in a few years.

Bey is the one that scares me the most, what the hell happened to him? He has lost his spot in the team in the 4th quarter already (to Frank Jackson) and at this pace I think it's only a matter of time untill he is out of the rotation.

I actually think offensively, you can have one of Hayes or Stewart be in your starting 5 as the 5th best offensive starter. You can't have both and compete for a playoff spot most likely even in year 3 for them unless one of them takes a pretty big leap forward in being able to score the basketball. That will likely get solved next year with the draft and free agency one of those two, or perhaps even Bey will be out of that starting lineup for someone with more offense.

Bey needs to simplify his game back to 3&D again… or he’s going to lose a lot of money.

I actually think Bey can turn it around he just isn't hitting shots. At the very least he's a decent 3pt shooter everyone is shooting bad this season ill give him some more time. But that said he's really bad at finishing around the rim for a 6'8 guy he plays so much smaller.

Been saying it all year but Stewart isn't a starter and has limited potential with him not only being undersized but also below average athletically. They should try and develop him to be more of a 3 point shooter.

Hayes is good on defense I still don't think he's lock down or anything he has quick hands and can force some TOs. Still on offense he's allergic to the paint, i cant count the number of times he drives and then jump passes the ball instead of trying to score. Imo he's looking like a bench player gotta be good on offense to be a quality starter at guard.

Saddiq is missing a lot of open threes but he's also forcing a lot of shots. He's trying to play like he's Jimmy Butler even though he's more suited to being a 3&D guy that can put the ball on the floor every now and then.

Think he's trying to develop a more well rounded offensive game and it's messed with his rhythm.

Too much thinking and not enough playing within his limits.

That said this is the perfect season for him to do that, to expand his offensive arsenal and get accustomed to different situations on the floor.

The hope is that by the time next season begins Bey is a multi skilled 3rd or 4th option.

I’m not overly concerned with our 2nd year guys outside of lee not getting minutes.
Killian looks great defensively. I would love for him to be more aggressive when looking for his own shot, but he’s not passing up open 3s and he’s finding guys in good spots. Unfortunately our shooting as a whole has been horrible.
Bey is a hard one to judge. He has clearly worked on his handles and footwork. He’s getting good looks and he’s getting into goods spots in the paint, but he just can’t finish. I think he’ll look much better by the end of the season, but for now he just needs to let the game come to him. Last year he was just shooting 3s. He’s doing a lot more now.
Stew, like every big man, will take a couple years to get there. He looks better than last year though. He’ll get there.

Yeah, that pretty much lines up with the eye test.

Hayes has been strong defensively and awful offensively, Bey has been a general train wreck, and Stewart has been bleh.

According to this chart, Saben Lee is clearly the best 2nd year guy we have. He's top 5 defensive and he's close to average on offense. One of the interesting things here is that Haliburton is actually ranked very high defensively as well. I knew he was really good and efficient on the offensive side but its surprising to see him so high on the defensive side.

It is Bey's hair, he has to go back to all dark hair, get rid of that ugly blonde/red patch, also he needs to stop doing the put the head down and drive thing, and just keep chucking up shots outside the 3-point line.

Seems like all that Jimmy Butler comps last year (that I've seen on here, reddit, twitter) really went to his head this season judging by his awkward shot attempts

He has this entire season to get it out of his system since I don't think he'll end up being a Butler type of guy in the end, but it would be nice if his shot starts to fall a bit. Just to help out our already horrendous spacing issues from lack of shooters
