So far so good.
My only issue is three fair catches inside the ten yard line.

As long as Michigan’s defense keeps playing the way it is, don’t expect anything fancy on offense. Harbaugh’s not exactly a “pedal to the metal” guy.

I literally lol’ed watching the slo mo camera cutaway of Iowa fans after a failed third down conversion, and you could see a guy in the background raise his arms as he’s yelling “What…the…f**k”

If Michigan puts up 7 on this drive it’s over. Iowa doesn’t have a quick score offense and Michigan sure as hell has a clock-killing offense.

Haskins again, it's over!!! Not that it really ever felt like a threat anyways.

Even though they are a bad call away from being undefeated, they are now going to screw Michigan out of the #1 ranking and give it to Bama... and Michigan will get the much tougher Georgia at the #3 see even though they deserve to play against the much weaker Cincy. We're about to get screwed because the committee won't want to put a Georgia/Bama game since they just played today.

No doubt about it. Given that Georgia looked pretty mortal today and how Michigan is dominating this game, you could make a case for Michigan being #1. But as you said there’s no way they can put Bama at 2 because then they’d have to put Georgia at 4 to avoid the rematch next week, and that ain’t happening. No way they’d drop Georgia below Cincy so it’s easier to just keep Bama at 1 no matter what Michigan does.

I like the fact the broadcasting crew brought it up during the game and spoke against that line of thinking which may put pressure on the committee to not take that into account.

Yeah, I appreciated that the crew kinda threw the committee under the bus by explicitly acknowledging the possibility of ranking according to desired matchups. And quite frankly, if I’m the network I’d be more concerned about lost viewership due to a Georgia-Alabama championship game rather than a semifinal game. But if you keep Bama and Georgia separated for the semifinal the possibility then exists that one or both don’t move on to the final anyway. So looking at it from that standpoint I guess a guaranteed non-Georgia-Bama semifinal game and only a chance of a Georgia-Bama championship game is better than a guaranteed Georgia-Bama semifinal game and no chance of a Georgia-Bama championship game. I’m a huge college football fan so I’ll watch anyway, but as neither a Georgia nor Bama fan I’ll absolutely have less interest in a Georgia-Bama game, either semifinal or championship, than any other matchup.

I don't care about where we end up in the playoff. If this team is championship caliber, we'll win out. If not, we are at the very minimum, back on the map as a program. I am so happy for the program, and I don't think enough attention is given to Harbaugh and the tough changes that he had to make within the program. I'll say it again, Harbaugh swallowed his pride, took a pay cut, brought in new coaches, ALL WHILE changing the culture ALL in the same off-season/playing season. The program has undertaken an incredible transformation in one season. Watching Harbaugh and his players on the sidelines, coupled with the success the team has had this season... Recruits have to be stumbling over themselves to get to UofM.

Watching all the games play out, seeing Bama look VERY mortal against Auburn, seeing Georgia look pretty mortal against Bama (especially the highly heralded defense) not to mention that they really didn't have all THAT impressive a schedule the way it turned out, and seeing what Michigan did to Ohio State and Iowa, I'd give Michigan as good a shot at the championship as anyone. And that's not to say that anyone of Cincy, Bama or Georgia isn't going to be a tough out, but this Michigan team is now clearly hitting on all cylinders at the right time. And that's basically all that's required--first just get there then get hot for a couple of games. And Michigan is definitely as hot right now as any of them.

Am I a total homer to think Michigan is a good bet?

Hell no. Like we've seen in the past, you can do all the analysis you want but when it comes to two high-performing NCAA teams playing each other you never know what you're going to get. Certainly history has shown us that it could be a blowout either way or anything in between. That being said, just look at this from a risk vs reward standpoint. Shoot, make it a $100 bet...risk $100 to win $750, knowing that Michigan is certainly capable of beating Georgia based what they did against Ohio State and Iowa? Hell, make it a $1000 bet if you've got that kind of jack. I always bet as though I'll lose so it's always a bonus if I win.
While that Cincy money line looks pretty if you were willing to drop $1000 on it, I don't think they're beating Bama. As far as the other three bets go, yeah, Michigan would be the most attractive to me personally by far due to the risk vs reward thing.
