Yikes...we may not win another game until he comes back or Olynyk

Going to be a real test to see where the young guys are at now. Good thing is this means 16 more shots a game for all the young guys we're trying to develop. I'm sure at least a few of those goes to Cade.
Also think this forces Casey to play Garza. Will be interesting to see who ends up starting in his place. Feels most likely to be Lyles but I could also see a case being made for Josh Jackson.

I like that it will force Cade Cunningham to be the man every single night. Will he be insanely inefficient? Certainly. It will force him to learn quickly, though, and I think he has the right temperament to take a beating and grow from it. I just hope we're able to get double digit wins this year.

This!
Will be interesting to see how the rotation shakes out without Grant. We don't have a lot of depth at the 4/5

All that it guarantees is Pistons pick no worse than 5th.

Which was already looking like it was a very strong possibility anyway.
There's no putting a bow on this- it sucks. Devalues him as an asset, makes the team even tougher to watch.
There will still be better than a 50% chance we don't get a top 4 pick.

Welp, in the worst possible way we get to test my theory that Grant doesn't fit with Cade.
Cade is about to go to the school of hard knocks. He is, without question going to be the man from here on in. True test of his metal, and we'll all find out if he is for sure worth, the #1 pick.
On a team filled with those who defer, Cade is about to get 20-30 shots a night. Will also force Hayes to shoot more as well. Going to find out a TON about this teams younger players.

the bottom 3 teams all have 52% at a top 4 pick, so i guess its going to be a coinflip.
But yeah, it doesn't really improve our lottery odds at all, its just going to affect whether we can fall to 5 or 7. How important that is, who knows

At best we are looking at 4-6 weeks for him to return.
Trade deadline is February 10.
Very stupid of us not to trade Grant esp with his decline and how the season was going.

Well, according to some posters this will improve the Pistons’ offense so it’s a good thing, right?

Yeah, because that’s the smart way to trade…wait for a player to slump then get rid of him. Next should be Bey, right?

I'm not sure if playing 1-on-5 on offense is the best way to develop Cade, but I guess we'll find out!
Shame Livers isn't really back in the flow. Would be a good time to see what he can do.

We were horrible with Grant, we will be horrible without. It may improve the offense, Grant is a ball stopper, and makes no one better.
