This is why I said just leave Killian in, hes not going to close under Casey regardless.

Casey and playing Cojo crunch time minutes...name a more iconic duo

These refs are terrible. That wasn't a foul on Barnes. I'd rather they let that go, which would've forced us to call timeout to avoid a tie up instead of potentially losing a jump ball.

Edit: surprised it stood

Diallo in for Hayes to close this one out. Lyles in for Stewart. CoJo in as well. This is certainly not a game Casey is taking no risks.

Yup, but there was a bump/contact as well but it was initiated by Bey with his off arm.... just like the challenge Casey lost earlier in the game on the Pascal drive. The refs stayed consistant how they reviewed each of those plays. Defender was moving in both those drives.

In the head to head battle of big name rookies, this one was no contest. Cade easily.

Hamidou might have found a new niche of a small ball PF. He's consistently inside everywhere

He plays much bigger than he is, and I don't think he's really a fit for a guard

So is the tank actually on and Casey just wants to make sure he's always sticking it to his former team?

Pistons are 5-3 in 2022. Kind of crazy after starting 5-28 this season.

yeah he's honestly great when he can just be active off-ball and use his athleticism to finish off of cuts, boards, etc.

his athleticism even stands out on the defensive boards, he comes down with a lot of boards that none of our other wings (or even guys like lyles) can.

Cough... No Grant... Cough

Obviously it's not all due to that but the team chemistry has stepped up a couple of notches since Grant went down. I'm afraid of what it will look like when he returns and hogs the ball.

This is definitely the worst reffed game of the year so far that I've seen.

49 fouls called between the two teams, tons of stoppages, and no real flow after the first 8 minutes. Wish the refs could be fired after this turd of an outing.

Can't believe that "foul" on Barnes stood. Bey tripped himself. When refs get it wrong on a replay, you know you've got the C- crew out on the floor.

You don't want guys like KD shooting over him, but in some matchups it could work. There aren't many 3s or 4s in the league that score in the post anymore so you don't really have to worry about him getting abused down low. What you do have to worry about though is rebounding, but luckily Diallo, Bey, Cade have all rebounded well. Diallo is actually a better per minute rebounder than Jerami Grant this year.

Easy win :) it's too easy to beat Toronto. Barnes was terrible.

He comes down with rebounds that literally NOBODY else on the team can.

Anyone know why Barnes isn't really part of the offense? He didn't look great, but he seemed almost hamstrung by his teammates keeping the ball away from him. Wierd.
