Bagley for Josh Jackson and Trey Lyles and multiple 2nds....
I hate is so much. Lyles has been great for us and he is cheap next season. At least we did a trade I guess.

Good trade. Isn't it just one 2nd rounder?

Kind of agree with vege here.
Lyles has been better than Bagley this season. At worst, it might be a push.
But we throw in JJ and multiple 2nd to boot?

I like that we get a shot at Bagley without being involved in a Grant trade. We also open a roster spot, precursor for another move?

Time for Bagley to wake up and become worthy of his draft slot

Watch people who were desperate for a trade complain about this.
I’m here for it. Some actual height!

Weaver and trading multiple 2nd round picks in every trade he makes - name a better a combo
Was not a fan of Jackson, but Lyles production is as good as Bagley's
Bagley, well regarded as a bust, untouched by nearly any team who was offered him, on an expiring deal is worth a cheap rotation player and multiple 2nds?
And you just know Bagley will be getting at least 3/30M from Detroit this offseason.
Also why not try to move on from Joseph/Olynyk when the Kings are obviously looking to stockpile talent for a playoff run, try to get some cap space free?
I dont care what people say, Weaver is a joke.

We easily acquire/buy second rounders all the time.
I don’t love the trade but it’s hard to get too worked up over what we gave up.
Plus it means I don’t have to see Josh in a Pistons uniform again. That’s a plus.

I hope not on 3/30…..ugh
We had a team option on Lyles next season for less than $3 million

I would be happy if it was Olynyk and 2nds for Bagley, Lyles for Bagley straight up is a downgrade in production and money, and we're giving up 2 2nds to do that trade. I hope this is our only trade, because Weaver is just clueless.

Re: Bagley for Josh Jackson and Trey Lyles and multiple 2nds....
I don't see any issues with this trade. A bunch of filler for a big guy with upside. Lyles was having a nice season but there's no upside with this player. Don't know how anybody can be upset about this but I'm sure some will be because 2nds are treated as gold around here for some reason.
Also, it's not about who is better this season between Lyles and Bagley so not sure why that's even being brought up. This was clearly a trade made for upside so comparing them this season makes no sense.

This is a great trade. Absolutely fantastic. If I'm wrong, well, it is what it is, but Bagley desperately needed a change of scenery.
Yes! A true lob threat!
Don't give two **** about 2nd round picks.

IMO, Lyles + Josh should have been enough. All Pistons GMs since Dumars just love giving up SRPs for no reason. :/

Re: Bagley for Josh Jackson and Trey Lyles and multiple 2nds....
I’m pretty meh on what we gave up. Nobody was really wanting to sign Lyles this past offseason and JJ is on his way out of the league. 2nds are not hard to get if you want one come draft time, hell you can just buy one with cash on draft night.
As far as Bagley goes , I don’t have high hopes,BUT he does at least give us a different look/option in the front court rather than the undersized/under athletic rotation we had before. He should be a legit roll man in the pnr and a good lob threat which could open up the offense
It also opens up another roster spot , which can help facilitate a Grant trade

I like it
Gives a look at Bagley
Josh Jackson/Trey Lyles were expandable
Olynyk or grant moving next
Bagley/Stewart/Grant/Olynyk/some Bey

I mean, it seems like second rounders are always for sale around draft time if you want one.

Love the Trade, Lyles wont be here when we are a good team. Bagley possibly might be.
