It's crazy to me how much more love Ja seems to get than Trae. I know the Grizz have a better record and everybody is enamored with Ja's athleticism, but he also has a better team around him. Trae actually represents a larger % of his teams offense and is ahead in pts & assists. They are 5th/6th in PER respectively.

I don’t care how boring it would look but I would love to hunt Young switches on every single half court set

I don’t think you can necessarily say Trae’s cast is worse. He’s also a huge liability on D. Probably a bottom 5 defender.

I don't think there is any question, that at this moment, Young is the better offensive player. The excitement factor with Ja's athleticism combined with Ja being a better leader, rebounder, defender, etc. Plus Ja is younger with more upside still.

Trae was getting huge props for getting the Hawks to the ECF last season, but coming into this season and pretty much saying regular season ball is boring and then this season not even being a playoff team just a play-in team I think has really shrunk the talk of Trae around the league.

I feel like we lose a lot of free throw rebounds

Defence and rebounding looking very suspect so far

I am quite ready for Cojo to no longer be a part of this team.

Painfully obvious that the size and rebounding of the Hawks dictates an adjustment, and an easy one at that. Let's see how captain brain trust responds.

Also, Joseph is being paid to make the team worse, im convinced of it.

Trae is a year older. That's practically negligible in terms of who's "younger with more upside". And statistically Trae is having a better year than he did last year when they did make the ECF, so like I said, I understand people looking at the team record thing... but it's not like he's Westbrook. Dude is playing just as well, if not better, than last season when people had a different opinion of him. *shrug*

Poor start for Cade... was hoping since the Hawks are a below average defensive team..... They were a really bad defensive team earlier this season (mid 20s) but I looked just now and they've worked themselves up to 18th defense in the league so they are just about average now.

Always encouraging when Killian can come out and hit a jumpshot immediately, hopefully he has a decent game here.

Bagley certainly has an offensive skillset we haven't see from a big man in awhile. He's more skilled offensively than a young Drummond was. He's much quicker than a young Monroe was. Hard to say if there is a recent Piston he reminds me of... no one comes to mind really.

He’s certainly due for a good game.
I’m keen to see him with Bagley. I haven’t been able to watch much since the Bagley trade
