With the bench decimated by injuries, and no Stewart, I don't expect even a competitive game to be honest.

I'll watch, for a bit.

it's going to be interesting with almost half our roster out, that's for sure. hopefully we can keep our offense rocking.

since the boston game before the all star break where we really turned things around, our offense averaged 111.3 PPG (115.3 ORTG). that ORTG would be tied with ATL for second best in the league if it were season-long. for comparison, our season-long ORTG is 104.7 (3rd worst now, after being dead last until recently).

Nah, this will be another close game. The biggest thing will be whether we're able to get Bey going early. He's been in a funk the past few games and he needs to get some of his confidence back.

I know Vucevic abused us without Stew, but Bagley should have a slightly more favorable matchup tonight. It sucks missing Diallo, but more opportunities for Lee/Livers isn't a bad thing. It's probably still an L, but I'm not going to sell this team short. Even against CHI we had a chance IF we made a few more open looks in the 4th and had 1 or 2 calls break our way. We were in it, warts & all.

Usually im the optimistic one here, so hey, carry the torch tonight!

My expectations are in the dumpster at the moment.(not about the team, about tonight specifically. So many players out...)

Pistons just don't have enough real basketball players tonight. It will likely be one of those games where there will be a three minute sequence - probably involving Olynyk - where the Pistons make three dumb turnovers, Casey doesn't call a timeout, and one point lead is suddenly a double digit lead for Boston, and the game feels done.

Cade with a few TO's early leading to transition dunks. Bagley defense is looking suspect early as well. He's new to the system so you can cut him some slack, but early signs are that he looked much better off the bench than as a starter. He's also not getting the same looks along side Bey/Cade/Grant/CoJo as he was getting with the bench brigade. Hopefully he turns it around and has a good game tonight but he certainly isn't the rim protecter that even Beef Stew is.

Smart is a super tough on ball defender

Good experience for Cade even though hes been stripped a couple of times

Cade for sure us going to be the total package on offense. You can see it now. He needs to get a bit more efficient scoring the ball, but he's got all the moves to get to the basket, or pull up for the short floater, or step back for the jumper. He's got a variety of moves that will make defenses really have to focus in on what he's doing.

It's stupid because at the beginning of this season they weren't calling the offensive player intentionally swiping through to get the foul. Now they have called it against us a few times in recent games.

nice to see pickett hit some of his first shots.

and man cade is literally controlling the game. running the offense virtually every single play and has played 16 straight minutes now. against a top 5 defense in the league.

Pickett might work himself into an NBA contract next year if he keeps this up.

Saben with some sweet moves into bricks at the basket.
