And to think some fans were worried about the Pistons being penalized by the league for obvious tanking lol. We got nothing on OKC.

Killian Hayes is one steal and 5 blocks away from a 5x5 w/20 points. Spend the rest of the game getting those blocks, Kill!
At the end of the day, it's not about wins and losses. Teamwork, fair play, and good sportsmanship make champions of us all.

He should go for 5 TO and 5 fouls as well

I would not be upset if we started Livers the rest of the season. What a steal.

PS... as a magic fan I'm fully aware that they are guilty of the same trash... and I support it

lol i'm definitely embarassed.

and kind of mad because we're putting out this lineup and somehow still blowing the thunder out by 20.

That's the worst

Tanking and still winning might be one of the more frustrating things to watch. Might as well let your young guys ball out but you don't know that going into the game.

obviously grant should start if healthy but when he's out i'd much rather start livers at PF than bagley. he provides spacing and "fills in the cracks" of the starting lineup much better than bagley.

and that gives bagley a better chance to work his offensive game against the opposing bench, whereas livers is pretty much going to be a spot up guy regardless.

I'm still trying to figure out what his best position is. I know he's listed as a PF, but I think he can play 2 through 4.

Cade/Livers/Grant/Bagley/Stewart would not upset me.

i think at this point most pistons fans are okay if with winning if our "prospects" (cade, bey, stewart, bagley) are the ones that play well and get the W. but this is literally rolling out guys that won't be on the team next season and winning.

i wouldn't be surprised if hayes and livers (2/6 guys playing tonight) were on the roster next year and neither core rotation guys.

What was the point in playing Cade only eight minutes tonight? Clearly his only chance on winning ROY is based on his stats, considering the narrative around Mobley and Barnes is that they are on winning teams. Just don't understand the logic in this move. Should've just sat out the game entirely.

God bless these OKC announcers and their boundless optimism. Every guy on that roster is evidently taking advantage of the opportunity.

He might be a better all around player than Bey. Livers is quick enough to play defense and he can shoot as well as anyone on the team.

I don't think it was the game plan coming in. I'm sure we at least talked about it in advance, but we didn't want to be the team deliberately tanking by resting all our starters. If this was a close game I expect they'd have gotten more minutes, but our scrubs are playing better than their scrubs.

I know it sucks in terms of Cades numbers, but I don't really have a problem with it.

Killian Hayes is blossoming at the wrong time.

i don't think that's what happened, because we didn't start blowing them out until the second half and obviously had no intention of playing cade/bey/stewart. i had the halftime shootaround playing in the background and while everyone was warming up normally, cade and stew were playing 1v1 and it was just a 4 point game at that time (after they hadn't played the entire second quarter).

i can see them playing bey a few minutes because he's said publicly that he cares about his consecutive games streak but not sure about playing cade and stew for 6 minutes.
