If you read the original post, it wasn’t a call to blindly trade the pick.
My logic was that if there’s a young player on a win-now team that could be poached, it might be a better option rather than drafting a player that the scouts aren’t sold on.
Are you suggesting there isn’t a player in the league you’d trade the pick for?
