A reminder of why we got rid of them...lol

I think they would look fantastic in royal blue.

I hated the white version of these, but I surprisingly f*cks with these!
I also liked the Red Lightning bolt ones from last season as well!

When we had teal, I was happy to go back to the Red/White/Blue.... but there is certainly some nostalgia to these from the Grant Hill days... I was 12 to 17 during the teal years so it was right when I was playing middle school and high school basketball and loved watching Pistons play, even though we never made it out of the first round during those years with Grant Hill.

honestly i kind of like the colour, just not a fan of the font and horse. probably can't even see those on the broadcast view so i don't mind considering we'll probably only wear them a few times this season.

Thanks to this I’ve gone down a google rabbit hole that’s brought up Mark Macon and Christian Lattner so far.

Thanks teal

I hope this will placate all the Gen Z guys that have been so vociferous for it for so long.

Hopefully someday the Pistons will finally drop "Chrome" or "Motor City" and bring back the Goin' To Work reds.

I like it we probably got some of the most boring jerseys in the league at least this gives us some variety.

Ew that's nasty. Reminds me of Terry Mills and just a bad overall time in our franchise

I don't mind or care. Last time this team wore these jerseys we ascended toward greatness! It's time to roll these throw-backs out!!!!

I’ve loved these jerseys for as long as I remember hence being my DP since I first created my account. I don’t understand what the hatred is for? They are unique, complementary and are different to the rest of the league. The traditional red, white and blue is overused and boring, nothing screams unique or interesting. If it’s the era that makes them hate the jerseys, I get it but it’s literally just colours on a jersey, chill lol.

I never liked the look of them, even if I actually do have some fond feelings for that era of Pistons basketball.

Grant Hill was something special.

I just don't get it, but I guess if your younger, have zero fashion sense, and yearn for the days of a treadmill team, this is the jersey for you.

I mean who doesn't love teal?

Teal symbolizes gynecological cancers and sexual assault.

Aptly put.

It has nothing to do with the team itself at that time for me. I just don’t like the color teal and while I had no problem with the flaming tailpipes being relatable (pistons, engine, exhaust), I thought the horse head (horsepower) was a step too far.

I’ve always liked the horse, but it would be cool to have a blue, red and white design. Not a huge fan of the teal, but it’s ok for a few games here and there.

Why the Pistons would want to throwback to this era is beyond me. I may be in a minority, but I think the horse is dumb.
Comments to rationalize bad contracts -
1) It's less than the MLE
2) He can be traded later
3) It's only __% of the cap
4) The cap is going up
5) It's only __ years
6) He's a good mentor/locker room guy
