will be the first player to have played for every team before he retires.

Currently, Ish sits at 12 different NBA teams :D

Irrelevant topic but I'll play along. He's the definition of NBA journeyman but nothing wrong with that. Guy has made millions as an undrafted player.

Realistically, given that he's played for 12 teams in 12 seasons and seems to be in pretty good shape at 34, maybe he can squeeze in another 3-4 teams in the next 3-4 years.

It would be funny to be in his head and find that given he's in the final year of his contract, he gets multiple offers of similar value and specifically takes one from a team he hasn't played for yet.

i wonder if he identifies with one team the most. he played the most games for us but was a starter almost his whole time with philly. he also finally got to play for his hometown charlotte last season but they traded him at the trade deadline.

i think we were the only team to give him a deal longer than 2 years and the only team not to cut or trade him.

I think there are a few players tied at 12 or 13, so it should be within reach.

there's four other players (chucky brown, tony massenburg, jim jackson and joe smith) that have played for 12 teams so as soon as ish steps onto the court for the nuggets he'll be alone with the record for 13 teams.

HM: anthony tolliver reached 11 teams after playing for 5 teams in 3 years after he left us in 2018.

I miss both Ish Smith and Anthony Tolliver, they were awesome for us in their role, really classy guys, I was sad when Ish was let go because we decided to go with Rose.

Yeah i like a couple solid vets for sure. Rose was just bad timing with us needing to bottom out. Hopefully Bogs and Burkes is good for us.
